Claudine'S Custom Draperies

Description of Work: 7/29/2010 Re: Case # 22248198 Claudine agreed that the Roman shades were flawed ( definitely too narrow for the windows and that they had been mismeasured ) but she had difficulty seeing that the hems were uneven ( mismeasured ), seams crooked, stitching crooked, backing visible from the front , seams not aligned with corners on the valances & that the drapes couldn’t be raised or lowered properly resulting in the cords braking within 2 days. It had taken her two months to complete the project originally. We had taken down the old blinds so we were without window coverings. She wanted to buy more material, rip out seams and try to widen the shades to fit the windows. That alone would not have been satisfactory (if it did work?) and I did not have confidence in her ability to do quality work by that time. I informed her that I did not have confidence in her work &/or time to have her experiment with trying to redo them. I offered to let her keep the 20% cancellation fee and informed her that I would be looking for an alternate form of window covering as soon as possible since it had become a necessity by then.
