Airscape Whole House Fans

The shipment arrived exactly as ordered within two days of purchase (one day ahead of what I thought it might take at a minimum, which was impressive). I hired a local electrical contractor to install the fan, which was a nightmare because my attic was designed poorly, but that is a separate issue. The fan itself is superior. It is extremely powerful, and yet relatively quiet. The fan has automatic insulating doors, which is going to be very helpful in the winter months. The fan I ordered has two speeds, which allows for a extremely quiet operation during the night at the lower speed. I ordered the optional wireless controls, which allows me to start the fan from any room in the house. The fan is relatively expensive when compared to other whole house fans I looked at, but the superior workmanship and quietness makes up for the extra costs. I would like to note that I purchased this fan based on the recommendation from a licensed contractor from Davis I know, who had installed one in his house and loves it also. I would wholeheartedly recommend this fan. Finally, I wanted to use the fan for several months before I submitted my review, which is why this review is given several months after I had the fan installed.
