The door has not worked right from the beginning. We called the owner and installer because the door did not go all the way up. He came out and said the door was designed to only go up to the height it was, so an SUV could not get in the garage. The door got very noisy, called again, he came out and said nothing was wrong with the door, this time he charged $40.00, half of his usual service charge. My husband was very ill and passed away 6/15/2013, and couldn't argue with him about anything. I called again 6 wks. ago because the door was super noisy. He came again and my son in law and my remodel contractor told him what was wrong with the door and he agreed, the motor out of alignment by 2", and caused a dent in the door. He agreed and said he would order another panel to replace the dented one. I waited 3 wks. and called again and was told he could not get the panel out of Portland as they would not take a panel out of a complete carton, and he would have to order the panel from Ohio, but they required $200.00 for shipping and he could not afford to pay that, so he would have to wait until a new customer ordered a door that came from Ohio, so he could piggy the shipping charge, asked how long that might be, he said he had no idea. A few days later the door started to buckle when it was being raised, again my son in law and contractor were here and managed to stop it before it completely buckled, they put a strut on top of the door. I have since called American Industrial Door and had it repaired. They said the door was the biggest mess they had ever seen. They had to adjust track tension, redo hinges, remount strut, reinstalled end bearings, re installed motor, readjusted limits, remounted bell wire, and placed a strut on top of the door to stabilize it. Two men worked on it for 2 hrs. and charged $240.00, only because they said I got had. The owners name is:Jeffrey Charles Eubanks, CCB#196343. Sincerely, Patricia A. Sharp
