DC Appliance Repairs

I called for washing machine repair and he set up an appointment for the next morning. He no showed. I texted him and he had a family emergency, which is fine, but set up another appointment to come out the next day. He once again no showed. I again texted him, which he read the text, but no response.

We contacted David for a refrigerator repair and charged us $600 for the service. Told us we had 60 day warranty and to let him know if we had any issues. Sure enough we had to call him a day later because our freezer portion still wasn’t working he came about 2 days later and “fixed” it. We are still having problems with our freezer and have been messaging him. He tells us he will come one day but something always comes up. We messaged him again to see if he was planning on coming to do the work if not so we could stop wasting each others time at this point the warranty is now over but we just want answers. He was supposed to come out today but still have not heard from him. David is a nice guy but the communication is not there for this company.

David came over was very personable and pleasant. He had called the day before to verify the job and time. I explained that although the job described a Jacuzzi/ Hot Tub- the job was for a Jacuzzi bathtub not a full size jacuzzi. I explained that the jets were dirty and that mold had come out, that we had trouble adjusting the jets and that the air system didn't seem to work. He came over at the appointed time looked at the system saw that it was dirty explained how to change the strength of the jets (turning the knobs) I mentioned as he was explaining this that the knobs did not turn easily and I couldn't do it by hand. he checked to see if the air system had a clog by blowing through the tube. It did not have a clog. He turned the system on informed me that using high heated water would help clean out the system as well as using vinegar. He checked the filter at my inquiry, and turned the system on to check to see if everything was working. the air system seemed to work but sporadically. 2 hours after he left I was cleaning the system as he had instructed, and the air system did not work at all. I blew on the hoses and determined there were no clogs. The tubing within the system was still very moldy in spots. for $500 I expected a much more thorough job in cleaning and ensuring that the system worked. While I like David he was very helpful and personable as I asked about other projects he did, the service or lack of service he provided for the required job was extremely poor and I will be contesting the charge when filed with my bank.
