J & S CONCRETE

Communication from the company was not great, but the work that was done is good. I am happy with the concrete parking pad that was installed. I did receive 3 estimates before deciding on Jeff & Son Concrete. Their quote was the most resonable.

As part of that bid, I provided them with engineering documents and specifics of the concrete and excavation work. When they arrived on the site (different guy -- not the guy who bid the work), they told me that it would be substantially more than they had bid because they thought the scope of work was more than anticipated...interesting, given that nothing had changed on my end. In any case, they walked off the job and didn't do the work. It was a surprise to me -- I had to call Jeff (the owner, not Jeff the bidder) to figure out what was going on as people were leaving...I do not recommend this company.

I got quotes from several companies. J & S Concrete was in the middle of the pack for price, but I had heard good things and even remembered seeing them in a commercial on tv so I decided to go with them. The crew was very professional. They showed up on time and and performed all tasks that I had wanted in a timely manner. One of my concerns was that I have a clean project. I did not want my home site to be an eye sore for my wife or the neighborhood. They were very respectful and kept the site clean. The work was well done and suprisingly I had no complaints.
