countertops, flooring contractor
 + 0 moreThey are good and I have been dealing with them for about 20 years. The quality of the work that they do made me to stay with them. They really try to fit in your budget. They are nice people and they put in the time with you. They are very personal in their business.
Description of Work: Fjelland Floors gave me a bid to remove the old carpet, disposing it, to remove the baseboards and out it all back together this week. The quote also included the counter top and back splash.

 + -1 moreThe installation was great. The floor is the worst. It has a finish that I cannot get clean. I have been in touch with them and they, so far, have not been very cooperative. When I inquired about putting in a new floor (with some consideration from them on price) Jeff told me it would cost $2200. I told them that I thought they could do better, since I came to them because they are a nice local store, and I wanted to do business with local people. Nothing. Then I suggested that they contact the manufacturer to see if they would help and see if the floor was defective. We are at that stage now, no new floor, waiting on Fjelland to get manning to replace the defective floor. Finally got them to contact the manufacturer and they put in the new floor and removed the old one for a small charge. I am happier than before, but not with their service. I was very disappointed.
Description of Work: They repaired the floor, and installed a new kitchen floor. The floor had been damaged from water, and they replaced the sub floor and then installed a manning sheet vinyl floor. I was told that this particular floor would be great where I live and it is the worst floor I have ever owned! Impossible to keep clean, and it collects dirt in the little bumpy parts of the floor.
