Emergency Services Offered
Services we offer
A few of the services we provide are: Carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, emergency water extraction, water & mold damage restoration, locate the source of hard-to-find leaks and odor control such as urine, smoke and mildew.
Services we don't offer
Very sorry but Snibley's does not do leather cleaning, hardwood floor cleaning, tile cleaning, house cleaning or fire damage restoration.
Snibley’s is a consistent performer. I appreciate their attention to “old time” service values: they respond promptly to my inquiries; show up on time; let me know if/why they are delayed; communicate clearly what they can do; provide a legitimate estimate; patiently and respectfully answer my questions; and, if they spot a “problem” outside why I called them, they step up to help find a solution. I especially appreciate how the technicians use simple language to explain how their tools work and what the findings mean. I highly recommend Snibley’s and will continue to use their services going forward.
Description of Work: I have hired Snibley’s on several occasions: to clean carpet; dry out our basement after the water heater broke; search for and identify the origin of our roof leaking; and most recently to determine if our new windower where leaking.

Snibleys does a good job, and will do some extras - like help move furniture. We have 3 vacation rentals and have been using them for 5 years. Their prices keep eeking up, which is why I am not grading and quot;Excellentand quot; across the the board, I have been especially impressed that they can deal with our erratic calendar and work themselves into our rental schedule. Very pleasant folks to work with.
Description of Work: Cleaned carpet in all living areas - tv room, dining room & living room.

OK
Description of Work: We had a renter who housebroke her dog at our house (unbeknownst to us) and Snibley's cleaned up after them including applying the "pet treatment". The carpet smelled clean after they were finished and looked nicer. The billing was a bit of a snafu- I asked for a scanned/emailed receipt and never got one. We got an estimate beforehand and the technician was late for the appointment. I would hire them again.

It went very poorly. I felt like I was charged way more than I should have been. I feel like I was taken advantage of. He said that it would not be more than $1,000 and that would include the $300.00 for the plumber.
Description of Work: They did some water cleanup for me.

Response from Snibley's Carpet Cleaning & Water Damage
When our technician first spoke with the client on the phone, he informed her that there will be a $165 emergency fee for consultation and services provided the same day. Within a few hours of being called, our technician arrived at her residence. The technician told the client what he recommended and the cost per equipment per day and per services. She agreed. The technician wrote his recommendations and cost on a work order. The client initialed by each equipment cost per day in addition to signing the work order. The tech then gave her a copy (her initials, signature, and our phone number are on her copy). Had she told the technician that she did not want to pay that price or use our services, the technician would have smiled, given her a business card and told her to give us a call if she changes her mind. Again, the technician told the client that he could start the work that day for an emergency call fee of $165. Had she not felt it was an emergency or not wanted to pay an emergency call fee, she could have declined and had our technician schedule the work to be done at our soonest opening. Our technician was very honest in telling her, prior to her authorizing him to begin work, that he was not sure how many days it would take to dry out. She was not “caught”. Had the client thought the carpet was dry on April 8th, she could have called our office (I personally answer the phone and/or respond to phone messages in a timely manner 24/7, even on holidays). The technician would have gone to her home that day. Had she requested that the tech remove the equipment or if the moisture meter indicated that the affected areas were dry, the technician would have removed the equipment on the 8th. She did not call and request removal of the equipment or let us know that she thought it was dry. The technician was pretty sure that it would not be dry on the 8th. Had the technician visited her home on the 8th and not removed the equipment, there would have been a $65 visit fee (as signed by the client on the work order). Had the technician visited her home on the 8th and the affected areas were dry or she requested him to remove the equipment, the tech would have removed the equipment with no visit fee. As she states under desired resolution; one trip out to her home is $65 (the technician came out three times). The technician only charged for one visit. When the affected areas were dry, the technician removed the equipment. The technician told the client that he would tack the carpet down for $125 or she could hire someone else to do it. She requested the technician tack the carpet down knowing it would be $125. During the five day dry out process, the client did not complain to the technician about our services. During the five day dry out process, the client did not call our office to complain about our services. When the technician gave her the work order with the total, she gave the tech a check and wrote “Done well” on the work order. It was after the job was completed and the technician left the job site that she called my office in addition to sending a letter requesting money back. In a letter that the client sent to our company after the work was completed she let us know that; she felt she should be refunded for some of the charges, she was not happy with our company, she will list our company on Angie’s List, she will send a letter to the BBB, she is considering contacting tv “help” and she will notify the residents in her area. In her paragraph following her threats listed above, the client indicated that her insurance company will not cover any of the charges. She also indicated she is a widow on a fixed income. Our company does not know what her insurance company covers. What her insurance company cover’s has no effect on our prices. Our company does understand that being a widow, disabled and/or a senior on a fixed income can be difficult when unexpected expenses occur. Had she let us know that her insurance was not going to cover the water damage charges or that she was a widow on a fixed income at the time of signing the work order, we would have worked out an affordable, no interest flex pay plan with her.
