J and I Flooring is a Licensed, Bonded, and Insured company based out of Lincoln City, Oregon. We have been in business since April 2008. Experience of over 20 years in the Flooring industry. Our Installs consist of small commercial and any size residential. Using products like; Travertine, Marble, Granite, Slate, Ceramics, Porciline, and many more. Also in Vinyl's; Congolium, Marmolium, Linoleum, VCT, LVT, Fiberfloor, and more. In Carpet's; Twist, Shag, Worm, Textured, Plush, Cutloop, Berber, Comercial, Stretch-in, Gluedown and more. We also do installs of all Laminate products. It doesn't matter the size of the job, Our goal here is to bring comfort back to your home or business. Patrick, the lead installer, was brought into this trade by a veteran flooring installer, out of Eugene, Oregon/Reno, Nevada. Now after 10 years of working under other companies and miscelanious small business tradesmen, has opened up for business getting this company built from the ground up. Staying very competitive for this region, and being the second year in business with no other advertisements other than word of mouth. Here at J & I Flooring LLC we make it our personal goal to keep the customers first with their needs and wants. We have a 99%customer satisfaction rate and have a good working relationship with our customer base and potential customer base. We strive to keep our ethics at a higher than expected rate and in return the customer's have been very happy, not only with the work performed, but with the ability to bring smiles and peace of mind from the outcome of the entire job, start to finish.

What a relief to have someone who is prompt, professional, and gets a job done quickly and at a great price! Our walkway decking needed quick repair for safety reasons. We do not live in town to arrange things directly, but the work was done, pictures and recommendations were provided, and we are very pleased.

[Member Name Removed] had a date set up with me, i called to let him know i would be late. I guess life just doesn't happen for him. Things happen! I pride myself on punctuality. Anyway he said don't worry about it and come after the holidays because he was leaving for the holidays. After the holiday i called [Member Name Removed] in which he told me that he said he had family coming for the holiday. I am assuming with his anger of receiving a higher estimate is why he feels he ha to continue this on Angieslist. I'm sorry you feel the way you do but please move on.

Our communication after I showed up! Wow thanks for the review when there shouldn't have even been one. Glad I save text messages. Sorry it didn't work out, maybe it was miscommunication but it seemed pretty black and white that I was wanting to show up on the day that I had scheduled, hiccups happen and I had something to take care of which was setting me a couple hours behind an estimated time of arrival. [Removed Member Name] "" "Patrick, I understood you saying you could do my job before Thanksgiving. Time is short at this point me thinks." Me;Monday, Tues Wednesday ? "Sure, Monday is good. You have to grout the next day? Yes?" Me;Yes, Monday would be clean up and tile set, I'll have one helper with me "Sounds like a plan. Just give me like 30 mins notice. Thanks" Me; No problem. We usually start around 10 "Sounds good" Me; Getting payroll and banking done. You want us to start later today or do you want to wait until after the holiday "After holiday I think" Me;Are we still waiting until Christmas is over. Just let me know "No. I had told you I needed the tile done before my family arrived before Thanksgiving. I had to bring in another guy when you canceled. Sorry!" Me; No problem, asking due to our last communication. I asked if you wanted to wait until after the holiday and you said yes. Glad it got done tho. Have a great Christmas "You to :-)"

Ecxellent work. Goes above and beyond. Listens to what you want offers suggestions to help does excellent work,clean,neat job. Comes to job when he says. Goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are happy. Will use him again very soon for tile and vanity work.

It went really well. Very well. We live 300 miles away and J and I was perfect to do this difficult job without our being there. Patrick went to the home and gave us an estimate. Patrick communicated with pictures every day and moved right along on the job. No excuses.....he did the work and we were well informed. We were lucky we had him as it turned out to be a difficult job and he is very good at what he does. We have worked with other contractors in the Newport area and Patrick is by far the best, the most reliable and the easiest to work with. And they do beautiful work. Very polite and respectful, too.
Description of Work: J and I removed an existing leaking granite shower pan and some wall tile, made it water tight, and replaced the tile and drain.

It's very difficult when you are in another state to find someone you can trust to work on your home. Patrick was always responsive courteous and patient with my endless questions. I learned to rely on his professional judgement and he became a valued consultant to me. If you are in the Lincoln County area and need to speak with someone about repairs or improvements to their home you should reach out to Patrick at J&I Flooring.
Description of Work: Patrick at J & I Flooring was originally hired to fix damage caused to the floors by my departed Tenants. I realized very quickly that I had hired the perfect tradesman! Not only is he professional in his work but also his character. I live in California however the property is in Lincoln County Oregon near Devils Lake. I was able to see everything he did by pictures he would take and message to my I-phone. In the end Patrick repaired or replace all the flooring in my 1,910 sf home including Epoxy flooring in my garage and laundry room, new carpeting and vinyl flooring through out, epoxy counter tops and tiled the bathroom vanity.

He got in and did the job taking care of all the work. Planning and tiling and cleanup. Very professional and curtious.
Description of Work: Tiled my counters in the Kitchen, flooring in bathroom and ansolutely LOVE the decorative tile around my bathroom mirror with the perfect cutouts for electrical outlets in two walls!
