Their attention to detail, commitment to quality, and genuine care for their customers is unmatched. It is not often that you find someone who agrees to do a certain amount of work for you at a certain price but then proceeds to go above and beyond. I was really pleased with the work Arlyn and his team did for us. They were efficient and took the time to understand our needs for the site. Arlyn checked in regularly and consulted me on my preferences if there was ever a part of the job that presented a choice. The 5-star reviews are all on here for a reason! I do not normally leave reviews, but when they are due, they must be left. During the summer I called around for two months trying to get an Excavator for an ADU build, and could not get anyone to call me back, commit, or even answer the phone. In desperation, I started again calling everyone I could google search, that I had not already called. It was after 5p, so I figured I would be leaving another message that would not be returned when to my surprise, Arlen answered the phone! When I told him I was surprised he answered, he said. I always answer my phone when I can. From there, it was just such a positive experience! These guys are the BEST! They knew my struggle with trying to get an Excavator for so long to get my project started, they fit me in quickly since it was a smaller project, and were nothing but on time, professional, fast, kind, and fun to work with. I loved reading all the reviews on here about these guys, Kenny and Arlen do know their stuff and you wont be sorry if you hire them. I would definitely and highly recommend Precision Dirt Works to everyone!

Precision Dirt LLC My wife and I purchased 7 acres of bare slopped land in Monroe Oregon. We contracted with Arlyn Hansen and Precision Dirt to do our site prep and driveway and assorted trenching since we wanted all of the utilities underground. We ended up with 750 ft of rock driveway and the house pad dug out of the hillside. Precision Dirt did and excellent job with the drive and pad along with installation of the septic system. My family recently chose to build a new home and of course one of the first steps in this process is to find someone to prepare your land so the construction can begin. I contacted multiple excavators in order to obtain bids to prepare the pad for the house, a pad for a standalone shed, our septic system, 400ft of a trench for our water, and driveway/access work. This work was going to be done in an area that had size constraints, as well as challenging elevation changes. As the excavators came out and walked our property they said things like, *yeah, I can get it done* or *I think we can do this or that* and explained some things along the way. When Arlyn Hansen of Precision Dirt Works LLC visited our property we found him to have a very relaxed demeanor and was extremely knowledgeable. Arlyn took his time with us as we walked over to our property. He made sure that he understood exactly what it was we needed to have done. Arlyn walked the property with us and offered solutions to problems that we had recognized on our own as well as solutions for many problems that we had not even thought about. Arlyn was very patient and took the time to explain in detail the issues he foresaw. Arlyn was also very knowledgeable when it came to building codes and regulations. You could also tell that Arlyn was very respectful of our bank account. Arlyn would clearly explain when and how he could try to minimize our expenses. Well, the bids came back from the various excavators, and the bid from Arlyn was the most competitive. Based on our initial experience with Arlyn and combined with his bid we chose to hire him for our project. We had contracted out the construction of our home to a national company. We had very set deadlines to where if they were not met, would add additional expenses to our cost. Arlyn understood this and made sure that he was available to meet those deadlines. Meet Kenny, he is the excavator operator of Arlyn. Kenny has a never give up attitude and a sheer will to overcome any obstacles that he faces. Not to mention that he appears to have an innate ability to visualize extreme changes of what something looks like in the present versus what something is going to look like when it is finished. Kenny basically had one chance to get all of his measurements right taking into account all the elevation changes. As an example, a mistake here would have resulted in us having to put in retaining walls to meet code requirements, thus costing us more money. Kenny did not let us down. Arlyn has phenomenal communication. He clearly explained our options on the best way to proceed in order to make sure that the project succeeded, all the while trying to keep our wallet in mind. Arlyn and Kenny were very adaptive and did what it took to finish the pad for the house. When the pad for the house was finished it looked great, was laid out to the specifications of the contractor, and met all the code requirements. The geology of this site was absolutely horrible and required Arlyn and Kenny to throw everything they had at it to get it done. The challenges that they overcame were extensive and demanding for both man and machine. In fact, the geology was so bad that I honestly believe that most excavators would have walked off the job. Arlyn is a man of his word and possesses high-quality work ethics. I have no problems what so ever in recommending him for your project.

I am so pleased to write about the excellent service we received from Precision Dirt Works. Our Jennings Lodge, Oregon home burned down in October 2018. We initially contacted Precision Dirt Works in early 2019 for a bid to have the house demolished. Their bid was comprehensive and fair. The insurance company took until January 2020 before we received funds where we could have the home demolished. Throughout that time, Precision Dirt Works were there for us, knowing that we were just waiting for the money to have the job completed. Once we had the funds and permit, they were quick to complete the job at the SAME estimated cost has they had provided us a year earlier. The team did an excellent job of removing the house and associated debris. They stayed in contact with us through the project including sending us photos, emails and calls. Through this collaboration with us Precision Dirt Works saved us money from their original estimate. We highly recommend this company to anyone needing demolition or site work completed.

Easy to work with. Very capable operator. Asked him to dump dirt along a big ditch and he took the extra care to texture the dirt leading up to the ditch which made it a smooth transition from field to ditch.

Very professional. I was easily able to get ahold of Arlyn, and he kept in great communication with me about the work being done. The job was done in the expected timeframe and exactly how I wanted it done. I highly recommend Precision Dirt Works and will be using them again for future projects.

His bid was the most reasonable of the four I received. The work (a house demolition) was started and completed on time, he kept in touch and responded quickly to questions, and they did a great job. It was great working with Precision Dirt Works. Arlyn was very helpful and professional. He allowed me to save money by doing some of the "foot work" myself. I now have a lot of respect for people in the construction business. He was flexible and understanding about any "bumps" in the road that we experienced from third parties.
