We hired them to reseal the gutter corners of our one-story house. A crew of two guys came out – the one who came to the door was not wearing a mask (I did not see the other). Based on the estimate, we assumed the job would involve quite a bit of work, but they were gone in under an hour. It equated to billing out at roughly $450.00/hour (forget about med school, kids -- sealing gutters is where the money's at). The team finished so fast, we called the office to request a supervisor come inspect the work, to ensure it was done properly. Oregon Gutter Service requires you to put down a 50% deposit to schedule the work, even for jobs that don’t require much in terms of materials. They ask you to pre-authorize payment of the balance upon completion of the job – something we don’t remember being asked for or authorizing but they say they did. Either way, they should have held the payment until we’d had a chance to finish our inquiry … but they did not, they charged our card later that day. Over the next few days we spoke with several employees. To their credit all were courteous, and calls were returned promptly. The estimator came out per our request and photographed each corner to document the work that’d been performed. The quality of the work was acceptable. So in the end it was a case of caveat emptor. We should have made sure we were fully informed about the scope of work before accepting the bid, to ensure we were comfortable with the cost. We should have questioned them closely about their payment terms and their COVID policies. This was an instance of our poor judgement – if we don't like the company’s policies, we should choose not to do business with them. Pros - They did a reasonable job. - They did it within the time window promised when the job was scheduled. - They returned calls promptly and were polite. - They sent someone to inspect the work and provided photographic documentation upon request. Cons - Workers don’t wear masks. We’ve since learned that the company has no policy re: wearing masks to ensure customer safety. - They require a 50% deposit before they’ll schedule the work, even for jobs that have minimal materials costs. - They request the right to charge the balance to your card the moment the work is complete (i.e., pre-authorization, no opportunity to inspect the work). Even though we called promptly to request an inspection of the work, they charged the balance to our credit card immediately. - The rates seem quite high for the nature of the work performed.

They never fixed 1 structures done wrong, 2 structures done well. Upper Management for this company horrible customer service. Looking for a new company to replace. Sad!!

Undependable! Absolutely terrible service. Did not do what was agreed upon. Called the office to correct and they said it would be done by the end of the day. Called the next day (today), the receptionist said the owner said they would not do what was agreed upon and too bad. The job was paid for. Do not use this company - total lack of integrity. If you do use them (which you have been warned about) you should be prepared for problems and will likely wish you had not!

Agent submitted bid that was way more than last year. When I submitted a counter proposal he said he would b back the next day after he talked to the boss. He never came back, never called, not very professional.

I'm pleased with the product and the installers got the job done quickly and professionally but communication is poor with the owner, which was frustrating. Phone calls weren't returned, in some cases, and, on the original installation date, nobody showed at the designated time so I called several hours later to get an update and was told the installers were running behind and someone would call me back shortly with an update. However, I didn't receive a call for a couple of hours and was told at that time that they would have to reschedule because the gutter guard wasn't in stock so my whole day was wasted. In spite of that, I'd probably use this company again but would stay on top of them.

Job was done in 1 day - as described. Workers were pleasant and professional.

CUSTOMER DIS-SERVICE I have a gutter that is clogged. I called Oregon Gutter Services, explained the situation, and they gave me an approximate cost over the phone. I agreed to the price and was told they would be out by the end of the week to work on it. Two weeks went by and I didn't hear anything so I called back and left a message asking them to call me. One week later, still no response, so I called again. This time I did talk with someone who didn't recognize my name but said and quot;Oh, I think I remember something about a gutter repair.and quot; I again gave them all of the information and was told someone would be by on Friday to look at it. I stayed home all afternoon on Friday and no one came. I gave it another week and still didn't hear anything. I finally got a call from the company and was told they had been very busy and would get to it that afternoon. Again, I waited around the entire afternoon and no one showed up. That was on a Friday. On Monday I called and left a message that I was terminating any relationship with Oregon Gutter Services for all the reasons mentioned here. I thought I might get a phone call apologizing, but nothing!! I cannot believe the complete lack of any kind of customer service attitude. I have written other reviews because I have received superb service and have come to expect that kind of customer focused attitude. Oregon Gutter Service is a company I strongly recommend avoiding.

Overall, the job went very well. The man that I worked with was very helpful in picking out the products, about what we needed and pointing out the specific things that needed to be replaced. I don't remember his name. The people that came to work were very professional and courteous. I appreciated having people of that nature around our house. They stayed out of the way and were quiet. They did a very good job professionally. I would absolutely consider them again in the future.

The work was performed well and on the date promised. No problems. They were hard to get in contact with, but other than that a good service.

The folks from Oregon Gutter Service had a competitive bid, the lead time was low and they showed up when they said they would. They worked quickly and did a very nice job. They even repaired a downspout for me on another building without charge. Overall: a great experience.

They did a good job. They cut the gutters right on-site and cleaned-up well. They also put screw covers over the screws, which I felt was a nice finishing touch.

It went great. Read the notes above. I would highly recommend this company. Tom Braun was a gem.

I contact Oregon Gutter Service to get an estimate to replace all the gutters at the house. Tom contacted me fairly quickly and asked if it would be ok to come by to give an estimate. He came out and wrote out an estimate and left information to make a sound choice. After getting several estimates I went with Oregon Gutter Service. I contact him to say I wanted him to do the work. He said that he would call me back later that day or the next day to schedual a time to do the work. He didn't call for four days, but when he did call he said he could possible be out the next day or by the end of the week latest. Their crew was out by the next day and began work. They were quick and very efficent. They were done in no time and the gutters looked great. It was exactly what I wanted. They were pleasent work with and I would hire them again.
