They were very good about explaining what they were doing and why. they performed everything we asked them to do. called to let me know that they were running late due to farm equipment on the roads from Lebanon - we live in Corvallis. It was a great experience. I will hire them again when I need anything done.

 + 0 moreAwesome response time, actually got the repair date moved up, very professional on the troubleshooting and repair of drainfield lines. I also loved that they didn't just jump to replace for a much higher cost.
Description of Work: Clogged septic needed troubleshooting. Could have been an easy clog, to repairing lines, to replacing full drainfield.

Description of Work: Our septic tank pump failed and we thought we were going to need a new pump, an expensive project, but the gentleman who came out cheerfully informed us that the pump was fine, just needed to be reconnected as somehow the wire had come loose. He could have charged us a lot of money for something we didn't need but he was honest, professional and just a delightful young man.

 + 0 moreAffordable was on time, worked conscientiously and did an overall great job. They knew what they were doing and did it! No surprises and the bill was what had been estimated.
Description of Work: Affordable had my old septic tank emptied, bypassed old tank and connected to drain field. Then destroyed old tank and backfilled hole. Everything that the County had requested was done.

Description of Work: We were afraid we would be needing a new drain field. They came out and looked, dug up one pipe, inspected the drain field and said it was good to go, replaced the pipe, reburied it beautifully (better than we expected), no more drain problems! took maybe 3 hours. They also drilled out a pipe in the basement just for an extra measure. Quite nice people too. We will always use these folks.

 + 0 moreBefore we contacted Affordable Septic, the first service provider we worked with dug the test pit for the County soils test and we paid him for that. After that he became uncommunicative, and after months of waiting we finally gave up. Mike Hamer and his crew were the opposite: he responded quickly and we had our new system within a couple weeks once the ground was dry enough. We were only without service for a few hours because the old system stayed connected until the new one was ready. Even though Mike may show up on a Harley, but don't get a wrong impression; he is professional and competent.
Description of Work: Affordable Septic decommissioned the old septic tank and drainfield, installed and connected a new 1000 gallon tank, and 375 feet of new gravity-fed drainfield to comply with County ordinances. They ran a long line (100') from the septic tank to the new drainfield. They did the design and obtained the permits.
