 + -1 moreOver the last year my wife and I have been renovating a house in Lake Oswego using a variety of contractors. We contacted Phil about the possibility of remodeling our kitchen, we also contacted and meet with two other contractors. After an initial meeting with Phil he started invoicing us for every meeting we had. Neither of the other contractors charged us for similar meetings. After our last meeting with a cabinet maker and Phil we asked for bids on a different woods which we didn't see until we contacted Phil a month later. We have decided not to work with Phil and have asked for a partial refund of the payments we have made which he declined to do. Our sense is that Phil does good work but his billing policies put us off.
