Larry Hudson Contracting

He was on time and did a great job. He accidentally left his bag of tools here and when we called him, he offered to put in the door in our garage for free if we purchased one. The fence repair is starting to come undone, but it did last for a year. I would recommend him to others.

Larry does good work. It was worth every penny.

Horribly. Mistakenly bought 2, four hour blocks of Mr. Hudson's time, as the credit card app lagged and I hit the button twice. Mr Hudson sent a one line email which we missed. Did not hear from him again until we sent a message months later. He was available a month or so later. When he came out, he was shown work needed. I was not able to explain much, as I didn't understand it. When I left to do other things, Mr Hudson told my son he was going our to buy supplies that I couldn't find. Mr Hudson called 10 minutes later to say he was "not comfortable" doing our jobs and that he would call to arrange return of money. In a month since, we have not heard from Mr. Hudson, at all.

He came to view the project and give me an estimate, but said he couldn't start for another month. I said that was okay and waited an entire month and never got an estimate. When I contacted him a month later to get the estimate, he wrote me a half a sentence email back, saying he was going to pass on the project. He didn't even sign the email. AFTER A MONTH OF WAITING FOR HIM. I could've had this done a long time ago..... So annoyed....

Great! He did a fine detailed job on the sliding glass door.

Provider showed up on time with a truck that had no lable or sign on it. Did not present me with a card, or give me his name or CCB number. I had to ask for it. I showed him my list and his response several times through out the visit were "you're killing me". I am a single mom with a handicap daughter , we live in a house that is handicap excessable. I have a built in changing table in her bathroom that had a peice of wood that was cracked and falling apart and also the legs of the table needed new hingees as they were collapsing when folding out making it dangerous to put her on it. He said he would go to the home depot and get some wood to repair it and some new hinges. He went to home depot and came back an hour later with no wood or hinges and instead told me that he put 3 screws in the crack and tightened up the hinges and that was good enough. (by the way the hinges still collasp and the crack got bigger) He also left sawdust shavings on the floor under the table.I also asked him to caulk around the tub and inspect some loose tiles.that were obviously coming up. He said the tiles were good... and he added caulking in places where it needed to cover up cracks on top of the old caulking. When I told him that wasn't good enough he got upset, squirted out a bunch of caulking and smeared it all over, including on top of the tile and left it that way. I also had a fan in my sons bathroom that needed to be replaced. He said he would get one from home depot. He came back with no fan and gave me a part number to order myself and used my ladder to look at the fan and left it in my sons bathroom. (which I had to put away). I asked him to also replace the cracked boards under my son's bed with new ones. He did come back with only 4 new board, enough to cover 1/3 and left me holding the matress while he cut the boatds and screwed them in. (good thing I'm strong!). He also left the old boards in the middle of his room for me to clean up. Next I asked him to exchanged two door knobs so I would have a lock on on my office. The doors have lever handles. He put the one for my office on upside down and said he did'nt have the right tool to take it apart. Last but not least, I asked him to clean the furnace filters. He seemed confused about the new furnace and when I told him how to do it He had to draw an arrow on the side of the filters to remember how to put them back in. He left with the furnace off. After 3 and half hours I was charged 183.50 for his services and materials (2 boards from home depot.) And as he left he said he rarely comes over to this side and he gets plenty of jobs off angies list to keep him busy. I later had to call another contractor to turn the furnace back on........!!!!!!!!

The service was pretty good. He did not ask me for any more money. Their promptness was good and they left the area clean. There was only person we have seen. He was on time. I do not know if I am going to use them again.

Larry went beyond the call of duty. He always figured out how to make things work. He is very competent in his work and does the job the right way.

The handyman did an excellent job and took care of everything that was on my wife's list. Thank you!!

His work was fine. No problems there. Cleaned up after himself. Nice man who appears to know what he is doing. I am very satisfied and will use him again.

I waited a long while before setting a date for the contractor to come out for a day. When the day arrived he did some work but was not feeling well, and so we decided it was best that he not stay. Time went by and I never called him to come back; he didn't call me back. I hope he is ok.

Larry was great. Punctual, nice, pleasant, helpful, just a great guy and very professional. His work was clean and well done. We will call him for every and all our needs in our home. We'll stop here so he doesn't get too busy...=))

Very disappointed in his professionalism and responsiveness. First made contact in June. I waited on his availability for a time that he could come and made a firm appointment. At the exact time he was to come ("after his work out") he called and said he could be there in 30 minutes. Unreliable.

My husband is not a handyman. So he avoids doing handyman work at all costs. We had several items that needed to be fixed, so we hired Larry. Larry was punctual, and quick. I had paid for 4 hours, but Larry was getting work done so quickly, I wasn't sure I was going to use the entire time. I needed a rug brought upstairs and put under my bed and Larry even vacuumed it for me. He was able to do most everything I asked and, if he wasn't sure, he said he would try (but gave me a heads up that it might not work.) Larry was fantastic to drive all the way to Home Depot to get a few things that we needed. While he was working I told him "we love Larry" several times. When my husband got home and saw his handy work he said the same thing. "We love Larry" ! We will recommend him to everyone.

Larry came by and removed a lamp from my lawn, replaced a light switch, fixed 2 faucets, drilled holes for 6 new drawer pulls, replaced a closing for my shower door and helped me drain some water out of my sons waterbed. He was prompt, courteous and professional. I called 5 days (including a weekend) before he came. I will definitely use him again and refer to others. He was having a special on 2 hours work and his price was reasonable. I am very satisfied with his work.

They were able to do what we wanted. The quality was really good.

Toilet fix lasted about 2 days. To build the door into the crawl space, Larry leaned a board in front of it. Needless to say this was not what I was looking for I was supposed to get 2 hours worth of work and this is what I got for the money.
