It went very well overall. I was able to work with this company to get ideas for the project, select materials and make choices for the work. I am very pleased with the result and would use them again.

John was early which was a plus.He did everything I need help on in a timely manner.I was pleased with all his work.I am happy to request him again.

Mike did a great job installing the closet doors, despite the closet opening being slightly off-kilter. The drywall repair looks good. This is the second time he's come into my rental property to do small, but important, jobs. I like his professionalism and will ask for him again.

They seemed to go above and beyond. They were very professional and friendly. They were just very nice people. Their price was also very reasonable.

It went really well. He was very polite and professional. The work was completed in a timely manner and done properly. I will use this company again for other small jobs as the need arises.

They responded the same day that I called them to look over the project. They helped greatly with our insurance company who had already denied responsibility due to their adjustor looking at the problem for 5 minutes stating it was my problem for all the repairs were due to a maintenance problem and this was not true. This company discovered that by opening the ceiling in the main floor it was a plumbing issue and should have been covered. They took several pictures of the internal problem. They sent them to our adjustor twice with descriptions of the damage and convinced them that they should pay 60% of the repairs which were due to plumbing issues and not any kind of neglect. The owner of the company contacted me to check on how the repairs were being handled and the project foreman was on the project daily to answer questions. Two different workman did the repairs neatly, were always on time as promised, and they cleaned up daily after finishing their daily work. Special note should be given to Josh who did the tile layout and 90% of the tile placement on the walls and floor with an extremely beautiful pattern not just a random design pattern. I hope to use In Your Home again for projects. I would like to do it for small or major repairs as needed.

Tops! David was respectful, on time, polite and knew what he was doing. I wouldn't change a thing.

Work went very well. David actually arrived a little ahead of schedule as the previous job took less time than anticipated. He got right to work and had my new light fixture in the entry hall installed in no time. He took the old one with him, which was really appreciated. He also salvaged the light bulbs from the old one for use in the new one. Then right to the garage to replace the ballasts in the florescent lights in the garage. It is so wonderful to have full light in the garage once again. The work was great, the price as well. I would use this company again for sure.

David bought the supplies with him. The install went very smoothly. The cost was fair. I have hired him to do some gutterwork on my patio. I would definitely recommend this company and David for any handyman work you have.

They were quite good. They tidied it up and were done within the estimate. We would use them again. They did a great job. There was a little delay and they didn't come as soon as we thought they might but they had other projects they were working on. Once they did get started, they did everything they said they were going to do and a bit more. They did it faster than we thought. They brought a second guy in. We had a couple of three estimates and they were right in where the other guys were. The problem was they couldn't know how much there was that had to be done until they opened up the side of the house. They didn't know how extensive the dry rot was. Once they called us back and got going, their responsiveness was okay.

They did a good job; they were good but not perfect. Their bid to us was substantially less than what they needed up charging us. The difference was in cost of material. Quality wise they were good. As for responsiveness and punctuality, eventually it was fine. But it took them a while. They had to reschedule several times. Once they got here they were fine. They were very professional. We would use them in the future.

FABULOUS!!!!! We had several items in our Gresham house that needed fixing. At first, I was concerned about pricing. The office manager, Roseanna, carefully explained about the hourly charges and got Mike Evans out to our place the next morning. Mike was efficient and did all the jobs we needed done. Since we had 3 hours worth of work, we got a $40 Angie's List first time discount. Believe me, it was a bargain. If I could give these folks an A+, I would. The next time we need a handyman, In Your Home is the one we will call. You should too.

I was looking forward to using this company as they have very good reviews, however there communication is absolutely terrible. I called them for the first time last Thursday and spoke with the lady that answers the phones about some drywall work. She tells me she has one of her guys in the office now and will get a rough estimate and email me and follow up with a phone call in a bit. Thursday goes by, Friday goes by, Monday comes and no contact so I call again. Same lady says oh im sorry about that ill get ahold of one of the guys and get right back to you. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday all go by and nothing. Here it is Thursday one week later and they cant even be bothered to make a phone call. I don;t care how good the work is you are running a p*** poor business if you cant even commmunicate with your customers. Unless you have the patience of a saint I wouldn't bother with this crew.

David came in a fixed our broken electrical switches and installed light fixtures and did other handyman tasks around the house. I am so glad we found In Your Home and will definitely use them again!!!

I called about deck repairs 3 times, and never got a call back. They called me back days later and said there would be a $25 travel charge, and they would charge me for the bid, and then make the repairs right away if they had the right parts. Without even seeing my deck, they estimated it would cost somewhere between $300-$500.

The entire crew was superb -- from the estimator (Brian), to the job supervisor (Jason), to the guys performing the work! Not only were they all very professional, but also friendly, courteous, thorough, prompt, efficient, and responsive. They have a great work ethic and the finished product is beautiful. Overall, we are extremely happy with all facets of the project. We particularly liked and appreciated their approach to bidding the work, i.e., price based on the skill level needed to perform the task. I can't saying anything negative about our experience and would welcome the opportunity to hire them again.

Brian was very excellent in the quote process, the reason we did not go with his service was that the quote he submitted was very underwhelming in terms of detail. He showed some pictures of work they have done and pictures of the work that they would do for us and tied the two together, which was great, but then all it said was estimate cost of work xx dollars and that was it, zero details. I like to know more about what is going on and how they are doing it before I sign up for something and this just didn't do ti for me. Their price was also the highest out of the three contractors we had chosen to get quotes from. These two things together, excellent quotes from two other companies and we moved on and went another direction.

It went well..I recommend this company to anyone who needs a handyman.

This company is easy to work with and although the carpenter had to return to do a few minor finishing touches we are very pleased with the enclosure (cat's are too). Have used them in the past and will continue in the future.

Dave arrived earlier than the scheduled time (wonderful!) and proceeded to look at everything we wanted to have him do before he started. He was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, really knew his way around everything and had helpful suggestions. He replaced our kitchen faucet and instant hot water, recaulked a bathtub (and cleaned it while he was recaulking), cut around a tree coming through the deck, repaired a screendoor, adjusted a toilet, and looked at other projects we want him to do in the future. He took pictures and is to get back to us with estimates and a list of items we need to get in order for him to do the projects. Also, in the days before he came, he was able to identify the color and type of caulking we needed for our tub, and it was perfect. We couldn't be more pleased with In Your Home and will hire them in the future.

Everything went great. I really liked this company.

We discovered the "Big Box" hardware store ordered the incorrect shower unit from the manufacturer. In Your Home adjusted their schedule to accommodate for the one month delay in getting the replacement. When the correct shower unit arrived, they promptly started work. They were mindful that we are Seniors and complied with our request for full use of one of the bathrooms at all times. The work moved along promptly and smoothly between the carpenter, shower installer, tiler, plumber, etc. They cleaned up any debris on a daily basis. Two shower shelves were missing from the shower kit and they followed up with the store and manufacturer. Their workmanship was excellent and I would hire them again.

They provided an estimate from my description of the tasks to be done and then revised that estimate after arriving on the job. This worked fine for me since it saved an extra step of meeting first to do an estimate. Since the primary drywall repair turned out to be less involved than initially estimated, I opted to have the additional work on the stress cracks done. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and professional and made sure that I was happy with the job.
