Very professional and friendly. I did not get bids on other companies. He was referred by a friend. I was satisfied with his work and would use him again.

He was great and came out to do the work right on time. He charged me exactly what said he was going to charge me and did exactly what I asked him to do. I spent about $300 or $400 on that work and I got quite a few quotes and his price was very reasonable. He was very careful and did not damage the nearby trees with the chainsaw.

Very good. Arrived later than expected due to truck problems, but he let us know he would be late. Completed job that day in the time he had estimated. Did a great job, had helpful suggestions about maintenance. Excellent clean-up.

He is very personable and gives me lot of information to make my decision and gives me a bid. His clean up is excellent and we are very happy with his work.

I had 3 companies bid the work. Dan was quick to come out and give a bid and get us into his schedule. He arrived when he said he would and did the job efficiently and professionally. One of the tree's actually needed less work than he originally thought (I would have never known the difference) so his actual charges were 'less' than the bid he gave. His honesty and fantastic work ethic have ensured that I will continue to call Dan when my tree's need help.

THIS GUY IS GREAT!!! He is an "arborist" -- by which I mean that he is certified as an arborist by a professional organization... some people just call themselves arborists without having passed any exams, etc. So he knows his stuff. And answered my many questions (and I had lots -- he was here 6 days). He did everything we wanted and some additional things too. He truly loves what he is doing, and it shows in his work. When he is done pruning a tree, it looks natural. We have several older trees that had limbs going every which way, and he cleaned them up so they look beautiful. He works on his own, so what you go over with him when he is out to do his quote does not need to be repeated to someone else. Very accommodating. No damage to any of our shrubs. Very safety conscious -- good for his benefit and ours. Even large tasks we had, he handled perfectly (e.g., removing several very large limbs from 100'+ tall trees).

Dan did the work himself. He is a certified arborist and also has a landscaping degree. Dan really knows a lot about trees and landscaping. He arrived on time, did the work he said he would do, left everything neat and clean, and was always willing to answer my questions and share information. He considers pruning trees a form of artistic expression and it shows in his work. He prunes for the health of the tree, shape and balance. I like minimal pruning and he did a great job. I would highly recommend Dan Gatley for tree pruning.

Mr. Gatley returned my calls promptly. He was courteous and professional in his manner and appearance. He kept his appointments, both for the estimate and the job. He was tidy and left the yard in good shape. I will definitely use his services again.

Dan Gatley was on time for the job. I was at work, but my son was home to confirm this. His original estimate was $585.00. He wrote on his billing form that the job took less time than anticipated, so he charged only for the time it took to complete it. I feel that Dan is a very honest and trustworthy person. He could have charged me the full rate, and I would have never known how long the job lasted. That says a lot. He did such a great pruning job too! I'm so happy! My trees are happy! I'll definitely recommend him to any friends and acquaintances that are looking for any tree service.

He did an excellent job. He was on time and very professional. He was very inexpensive. For the work he did, it was probably worth more.

GREAT JOB - DAN IS VERY PERSONABLE AND SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING. THE PIN OAK HAD NOT BEEN PROFESSIONALLY PRUNED IN AT LEAST 15 YEARS, SO HE TOOK THE CANOPY UP OVER THE FRONT YARD AND THE STREET. WAS VERY RESPONSIVE TO MY QUESTIONS. WOULD RECOMMEND HIM WITHOUT HESITATION.

GREAT RESULTS. DID THE WORK BY HIMSELF. APPRECIATED HIS SPEED and EFFICIENCY WHILE BEING SAFE. OTHERS HAVE DONE THE SAME WORK AT A MUCH HIGHER COST, SO WE WERE HAPPY FOR THE SAVINGS.

I CALLED DAN AND THAT EVENING HE CAME OVER TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE. TWO DAYS LATER, AS PROMISED, HE SHOWED UP ON TIME TO PERFORM THE WORK. EVERY TREE AND SHRUB IN MY YARD, AND THERE'S QUITE A FEW, WAS PRUNED, THINNED, OR TRIMMED. IT LOOKS GREAT. ALL TRIMMINGS WERE PICKED UP AND REMOVED. HE DID A SUPERB JOB. HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I ENJOYED DOING BUSINESS WITH HIM.

DAN WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL IN HIS WORK. HE DID AN EXCELLENT JOB OF TRIMMING THE TREES AND SHRUBS AND ALSO LEFT THE YARD NICELY CLEANED UP. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO MY BEST FRIEND.
