Description of Work: Ed Gause came out promptly to give a bid on a stairway to a third floor balcony, that had some dry rot. He carefully looked the stairs and deck over, pointing out much more dry rot than we had realized was present and discussed ways to deal with it. He was concerned about the height of the balcony and stairs that he and a helper would not be able to handle the job and said he would call me. He did call, saying he couldn't do the job, but gave me the names and phone numbers of 4 companies he thought would do a good job! We were sorry he wasn't able to do the job, he seemed very professional and extremely helpful.
