Castillo Construction

First off, Alex is a good guy, very friendly, and has decent communication. Unfortunately for our garage remodel project, he overestimated his skill level and hired inexperienced subs. We hired Castillo as a GC for our project, and after months of delays, backsteps, and redos, when we finally had to let him go from the job. We ended up having to redo 90% of the work with a new contractor.

They came and looked at the job and said they would send an estimate but no estimate.

Alex, the owner of Castillo Constructions, is just such a sweet and lovely guy. I was struggling with the fact that the garage doors on my home in Oregon were starting to fall off. The wood had rotted. The rental management company that handles my property came back with an insane quote of almost $9,000 to replace the carriage doors. My "only other option," they told me, was to replace the carriage doors with an electric garage door. But the carriage doors were one of the details that gave such character to my home. I explained this to Alex. At first, his bid was not far from the original one I had received. But when I explained to him that I really couldn't pay that much, he went back to the drawing board. I am so grateful to him for getting this job done at almost half the price that competitors were quoting. There were some delays along. the way, because the lumber was not delivered - but he was always communicative and clearly explained what had happened. The doors look absolutely fabulous. Alex is great! He took on a complex project that others were unable to grasp. He delivered an excellent result and worked openly, efficiently, and with excellent communication. He gets top marks from me and my neighbors who all appreciated his professionalism.

Alex came to my home on very short notice. He listened attentively to exactly what I had in mind. He made time in his schedule to come and do the work, which was done with great craftsmanship. He recommended and contacted people for other jobs that i needed done but did not try to push me into uneeded projects. Alex did an excellent job of communicating with me to make sure his work matched my vision. He was friendly, courteous, tidy, and efficient.

Our ceilings that Castillo Construction built look wonderful and add so much character to our rooms. We had a tongue and groove ceiling added to one room and faux beams added to 2 other rooms. Castillo Construction worked with us to determine what we wanted. They completed the project in a professional and timely manner. They were very pleasant to work with and I already have other projects in mind for them!

Alexander is wonderful to work with. He surpassed my expectations and eased my mind about the scope of the job. When you are dealing with water leaks inside your home ( in the middle of winter!) He was prompt, courteous, delivered our bid on time and communicated with me on a consistent basis so I understood what the job entailed. His work was thorough and professional. We are already planning on hiring him for further projects. I highly recommend Castillo Construction.

Alex is great! He listens to your needs and is conscientious with his suggestions and performance. He has a fresh outlook and is enthusiastic. Alex is affordable and offers great value for the money. He is punctual and clean and does great work! I’ve been waiting to get the structural stuff done on this rehab project for quite a while. Then, I found Alex! I’ll be hiring him again very soon

Alexander built our family a beautiful new front porch/deck with some new stairs to match . His detail and skill really shows and we are very pleased to have hired him for this project. We will be hiring him again soon for other projects!
