I wasn't at home when the tech performed the repair, but my husband was. My husband states that the repair tech was prompt, professional and got the job done in one visit. Thank you.

We bought a new range, microwave, and refrigerator/freezer at the end of 2012. At that time prices were fair and the sales team was great to deal with. I know the sales team has switched over quite a bit since then, and when I went in in 2016 they seemed less inclined to help. The service department, however, was great.

I called a full week before the service tech could come out and was told the Service Call charge was $85.00. The service tech arrived within the 2 hour time frame I was given. He immediately went to work scoping the problem. He was friendly, clean and seemed knowledgeable regarding the problem. Found that a and quot;main boardand quot; had a defected part and would need to be replaced. He then started to write up the order: That is where the only problem arose: The price for the Service Call was $105.00, $159 for part and install. I questioned the $105 Service Charge. I was told the Service Charge was only for the tech to come to my house and there was $20 per 15 minute charge after that for diagnosis. I was quite upset about this and the tech then only charged $85 service charge and when he came back today, he charged a $20 installation fee and the $159 parts fee. The person setting appointment dates failed to mention the additional charge for diagnosis. I feel Merit's is taking advantage of the fact that there are only 2 other companies in Klamath Falls that will make service calls on home appliances. A charge for $85 just having the service tech come and ring my doorbell and then charge $20/per 15 min. is absurd. I will have to think twice about calling Merit's or any other appliance repair service in Klamath Falls with charges this high. In my case, I could have purchased a new washing machine for what it cost for the repair. True the washing machine would not have been of the same quality.

I bought a new tv and sound bar from a big box retailer and discovered I was in over my head hooking everything up. Called the big box on 4 different occasions and got no response. I visited Merit's and explained I had purchased the tv elsewhere and asked if they could put it on the wall and hook everything up. We had a few problems actually getting in touch with the service tech - a couple of unreturned phone calls. I called back and we finally set up an appointment for later in the same week. On the appointed day, Matt, the tech, showed up completely prepared to do the job with the appropriate wall mount and cables. He helped us decide how high to mount the tv and completed the job promptly and neatly. He used our handheld vacuum to clean up the and quot;crumbsand quot;. Matt was friendly and let us know if we had any questions or problems we could call him. The price included Matt's labor and the wall mount and cables. Compared to what I saw from the and quot;boxand quot;, the price was very reasonable.
