+ -1 moreNot so good. Quality of installation on stairs was poor. Wife called & told ken Kiest of issues. He made an appt. to inspect & then stood my wife up. Eventually we were able to get the issues resolved.
Description of Work: Remove and replace carpeting on stairs and upstairs living area.

+ -1 moreKen Kiest was always punctual and very professional. He was consistently patient as we took time making decisions. We are very happy with our completed floor. It was flawlessly matched to the existing hardwood and the color is exactly what I had in mind. The installers came on time and finished the job in about 5 days. Although some problems cropped up along the way, Ken kept to his promise of customer satisfaction. He makes sure the workmen come back to fix any areas we are not happy with, definitely a very valuable feature. The carpet installation went extremely well and we are very pleased with it. We highly recommend Ken Kiest and wouldn't mind if he was the overseer of all our future home projects.
Description of Work: Hired hardwood floor installers to remove carpet and replace with wood flooring in fam room. Also existing wood floors were sanded and refinished. In addition, the provider brought carpet samples to our home and hired a carpet installation company to install the one we chose.

Description of Work: We had an excellent experience working with Ken Kiest of Floor Coverings International. He came to our home (no going to the store and bringing home numerous samples to see what would work), and helped us pick out product that fit in with our home's décor and stayed within our desired budget. Ken made sure that everything that was promised was delivered - he stayed in communication with us as to the status of our project, was on time for the job, professional, and made sure everything was cleaned up after the flooring was installed. He went above and beyond to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted and we are thrilled with the final result. The new flooring has helped increase the value of our home, and I'm extremely glad that we chose this vendor to finish our home improvement project.
