drain cleaning
+ -1 moreThey were pretty good about getting there, other people didn't even want to go that far. The charge was reasonable according to the other research my dad had done. They were friendly.
Description of Work: We had to have the piping from the bathroom to the septic tank cleaned out.

+ 0 moreevery time, we were impressed with the service, friendliness of the employees and professionalism. They got the work done, explained what was wrong and how to stop it from happening again. They even cleaned up the bathroom when finished! They didn't try to sell us anything more, but did let us know that water was running from somewhere into our septic which was causing part of our problem with the toilet. They showed us where it was coming from so we knew we had a legitimate problem that we were going to try to fix ourselves. We were very happy with the whole experience. I understand that Drainpros recently changed ownership near the end of 2012. I think the new owners are trying hard to make customers happy.
Description of Work: We have had Drainpros come out 3 times where I work, twice for clogged toilet & once for septic cleaning.

drain cleaning
+ -1 moreAs a loyal customer I feel that I was treated badly. They were just trying to sell me extras that I am not able at this time to purchase, but now my toilet is not the way it was before Drainpros showed up. When I questioned the three phone calls that the tech took, he said he was working while talking. I also checked my Cadillac that is parked very close to the access. When the tech was bringing his tools around it he smacked it. I was not going to bring it up since there wasn't any damage. I am aware that my home is in need of many things, and I try to do as much as I can myself. As a woman homeowner I try to be as knowledgeable as possible and have been taked advatage of before so I am very watchful. A service call that usually costs 90 dollars turned into 155. Because they advertise a 10 percent dicount I got 10 dollars off. Not 10 percent but by then I was to tired to care. Not realizing that my toilet was in fact not they way it started.
Description of Work: home owner for 20 years. Used drainpros and the company it was before...Hukill's plumbing. Every year to year and a half I need the roots cleared out of the mainline. My home was built in 1929. Drainpros installed a new access two years ago since this has been ongoing and digging into the clay pipe was how they would get to the root. About ten years ago I was told to ask for all the drains to be snaked since they were already there. When the repairman showed up I had eveything ready. showed him all the drains, where the access was and what tree was the problem. He had a hard time with the root ball and wanted to get the video camera I said that was not necessary. That they had used it last time. He said it might be a good time to spend 5000 dollars to replace the line to the street. I explained no I would keep doing this once a year. He did not snake the kitchen or bathtub or bathroom sink per my instructions. But I did want the drain by the washer and the toilet snaked. He argued that it was flowing and the the toilet was very old and maybe I should replace it. I again said no I would muddle through. He told me that I had low water pressure and and said yes I was aware, I have lived here for 20 years. That I had even talked with city water and there is nothing they can do since it is at the top of the hill. It had been almost two hours and normally this process only takes an hour. I was in the next room when I heard him reef on the auger in the toilet. He informed me he had done it 5 times and still the same. I noticed some round scrape marks in my toilet. The were about pea sized. The tech said he didn't see them, I pointed them out to him. By then I was just wanting him to leave. As he went out to his truck to write the bill. I used cleanser and the marks would not come out. I tried pumice the next day. No good. Tried calling the owner, No call back.
