I would give Kerby Electric 0 stars, but the system would not let me! My husband and I contacted Kerby Electric to simply hookup the electricity to our new manufactured home (after demolishing an old mobile home). Kerby Electric gave us the price, we accepted, but they never showed up to do the work! We contacted them numerous times for over four weeks and they made promises, but never followed through. We finally hired another electrician and it took two hours to do the job. Do not use Kerby Electric!

They did the job okay and the price was a bit spendy but we were in a rush and they could make it happen during the slow season. | |I called them (and 2 other contractors)in July 2013 for a bid when we bought a generator backup for our residence. | |Kerby Electric was the last to call me back and the last one to actually show up. By that time I had the bids from the other 2 contractors. Kerby explained their plan for installing the new service and gave me their price. It was twice as much as the others. | |I asked them if they could do (the way the other contractor suggested) and was told it would be impossible and that their solution was the only way for it to happen (installing another pole on which to split the service garage and then running an extension cord). | |And since you asked, my hubby has known these guys since they were kids. They're good ol country boys, and there's nothing wrong with that. Their dad started the business way back when, and now that he's retired, it seems the business has drifted down to the 2 sons. They may have their license, etc. but a practical knowledge at affordable rates, they do not possess.
Description of Work: Kerby Electric installed a new 220 line when we installed a hot tub on the back deck.

Description of Work: Had several thousand dollars of electrical work needed to be done on home. Called the main number expecting to be put on the schedule and lady passes gives a cell number to call a electrician directly. Called several times and tried to get the gentlemen to give me a time frame for an estimate review of the work and estimat of completion time frame. Never got the guy to commit to a date. Result, loss of a $8500 electrical upgrade plus a rewire job for new building.
