Great guy. Great service. Would certainly use again. Came first time and gave me an estimate with lots of options and no pressure. Showed up ON TIME, EVERY TIME. That is huge. For those that haven't had a lot of work done on their homes, trust me, that is not the norm. I've hired lots of guys to come out to my house over the years, and they are almost always late with excuses (traffic, trouble on the last job, blah blah). If you find a guy that shows up when he says he's going to, that's a keeper. Did excellent work. Well worth the cost. You can maybe get a cheaper rate from Home Depot or whatever, but those guys aren't professional and will cut every corner possible. I prefer to pay the few extra bucks and get a guy who takes pride in his work.

I turned the guy's card out because the whole thing that happened the second time he came back was so bizarre. I was giving his card out at work. I did throw his card out because it was that weird. When he came here for the first time, he was really good. I was really just impressed. Of all the guys I've ever had found on Angie's List, this guy impressed me the most. I had trouble with a contractor that I got on Angie's List. He came here to put on a floor and it was just a nightmare from start to finish. A 2 1/2 week job took 2 1/2 months. It was really bad. When he came here the first time, he said he wasn't ever interested in having anyone work for him. He just wanted to be a single plumber. He's a young guy. Most of these guys on Angie's List are very young which is fine with me. They are trying to establish their business. I called them back. You know when kids put in the toilet tank and I didn't know how to do it, and he came over and he looked at it and said no, but he had this laptop and he started telling me he's going to add 3 vans, he's got so much business, he just can't keep on top of it. He kept poking at his laptop. To replace the toilet, it ranged anywhere from $2500 down to $450. I told him he said he could put in the toilet for $100. He said he wanted $250. I said I wasn't going to order anything off his laptop because I didn't want it done that day. I went and got the toilet and brought it back. He said he would do it for $175 if I would dispose the toilet so we did that. The whole thing was just weird. He kept referring to this laptop. It was like he was high pressure sales all of a sudden, and warned me to upgrade and upgrade. I didn't know where he was going to get the toilets from because I don't want him to do the ordering yet. It was bizarre. Who would pay $2500 for a toilet to be installed? The whole thing just turned me off. I'll tell others who are considering of using him to make sure he doesn't bring a plumber's laptop. It was just crazy. All he did was sit and poke at it. It seemed to be like he'd been to some sort of motivational class that said how to get people to pay more money. He's a pretty nice young guy and he's got a young family. His attitude from the first time he was here to the second time was like night and day. He was like Mr. Wall Street when he came the second time. As for the quality, he did a good job. His responsiveness was a zero. He kept on looking at his stupid laptop. It was weird. I've never seen a contractor do anything like that. A plumber would come in and look at the situation and go through what he's got in his van, and comes in and fix it, or he would get the toilet and be right back. Instead I went to get the toilet. He was here on time, but the amount of time he spent here was totally out of the ballpark. He did do a good job of putting it in once I got it here, but the whole thing left such a nasty taste in my mouth. I was sorry I've handed out his business card to friends of mine.

/very pleased with the repairman. His attitude and demeanor were great. His subject knowledge was awesome. He was very prompt and finished the job very timely. Will definitely use this business again!!!

Went great. Job turned out to be a little bigger than expected, but Shaun was able to complete it the same day, which was really appreciated. The bathroom work had to include going in through the sheet rock from the adjacent bedroom. It was explained to me exactly what would and wouldn't be done (he cut the sheet rock and was able to reattach the piece that was cut out, but he doesn't do dry wall repair). Shaun had advised me regarding which kind of fixtures to purchase so that I was able to find and purchase some that were good quality and that we liked before his scheduled visit. Been very happy with the work that was done and especially enjoying new kitchen faucet. Will be calling him again for any future plumbing needs.

Quick, professional, and competent. Respectful of my home, was careful in not banging into the walls especially in a tight stairwell, had indoor booties without me having to ask or say anything about shoes. Great job would highly recommend. This is the second time I have hired Up a creek. Cost for service may be higher in this case as the toilet was a special order to fit an older funky shaped bathroom.

Shawn was so professional, he checked and cleaned all faucets and drains in 3 full bathrooms. Two of the faucets were difficult to turn on and I had him replace them . They slide on and off like butter now! My friend was here and she was so impressed that she asked for a card.

It went great as always with Shaun. He is very professional, pleasant and wish all handymen I've had to hire recently were as nice to work with and did the quality of work that he does. I would definitely hire him again or recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing work! BTW, I hope this review is for the right company since there were 2 Up a creek plumbing companys listed and neither matched the address on my bill! : )

Wonderful to have a professional come in and know what he is doing! Shaun was not just knowledgeable but also efficient. He went under the house several times to confirm his suspicion. I appreciated that he showed and explained to me what was leaking. I will definitely led family and friends know about his services.

I called Shaun a little after 8 am and he returned my call by about 10:15. He indicated he would come out to the house by noon. He called again and stated he would there before noon and arrived about 11:40. He was fast, efficient, thorough and professional. He replaced two leaking faucets in the laundry room and fixed a leaking hose bib in front. This is the first time we have used him and we would definitely call him again for a plumbing problem.

He was friendly and professional, showed up on time. He was quick about his work. Did work in less time than expected and did more work than originally requested.

He arrived on time and completed the work without incident. I had not previously asked him about the second faucet handle making noise, but he was willing to take a look and quickly fixed the problem. A few days later, I noticed some water underneath the first sink. It wasn't a lot, so the fact that he wasn't able to make it back to my house until the following week (partly due to my own schedule) wasn't really a problem. It turned out to be water leaking underneath the faucet. He fixed it and everything seems fine now.

He unclogged the sink and put the trap parts back on. However, there was a tiny leak and he came back ASAP and fixed the leak in the plumbing Shaun did an awesome job.

I was really grateful to Shaun. My water heater died on a Friday and I was rather desperate to have it replaced so I would not be stuck without hot water over the weekend. I called Up- A-Creek in the morning and, despite Shaun being very busy, he was able to fit me in right away. The heater was replaced that afternoon and it has been working fine ever since. I can't comment much on the price since I had not done comparison shopping, however, it seemed very reasonable given what I had researched online about water heaters. Note, I had at first called Melton's since they had installed my furnace but they said they were not doing water heaters because they were too busy with AC.

Everything was smooth and fast. Original visit the work could not be completed because there was no access to the pipe in the concrete foundation. So I had to reschedule the plumber for a later visit until I could have concrete cutters come out and cut a hole in my foundation for $400. After he had access he completed the work in less than an hour. Everything is working great!!

Shaun was a happy, helpful, prompt, efficient, effective and overall wonderful person performing his job with a great attitude. For what we asked, his estimate was four hours, things went well and he was done in three. The quality of his character lived in each task he performed. That is to say EXCELLENT. When the jobs were done, there was no additional clean up for us, he explained each item's current status and any conditions to be attentive to, i.e. keep calking dry 24 hours. We would highly recommend Up A Creek plumbing . . . except that we are concerned they could get to busy.

Shaun was great. Very personable and knowledgable and he worked quickly. Did the work in less than an hour. He asked if I had other projects to complete the hour but I didn't. He cleaned the area before he left.

Shaun arrived right on time, which was appreciated. He encountered numerous problems from the old installation and also with the new install since I had inadvertently bought the wrong style sink, but...he managed to overcome all and did a beautiful job!! It was in the 90's and I don't have air conditioning, so he had to survive with a fan, but did so with a smile and no complaints. I was very , very pleased with the work and the price and will definitely hire Shaun again when I'm ready to do my kitchen. He also hauled off all my old stuff which I appreciated more than he will ever know!! Thanks again Shaun.

Shaun arrived on time and was professional and courteous. He was done in less than two hours and cleaned up after himself. I will hire him in the future for all my plumbing needs. If you need any plumbing work done I highly recommend him!
