Ramirez Landscaping & Maintenance

I was very impressed with Jose and his work (worker with him as well). I called him on Thursday and he was very prompt for our consultation. He was professional, clear on what was going to be provided and we agreed on a fair price. He was right on time the next day, and far surpassed my hopes for our very neglected yard. We needed a lot of help, and the before and after was so dramatic, I hired him right away for weekly maintenance. I would definitely recommend Jose and can't wait to be yard stress free this summer!

Called made appointment for estimate. Came out same day. We agreed on amount and they started same week.

They did a great job with all of our lawn care needs. They did everything we asked for and even checked with us when they were finished to make sure that everything was up to our satisfaction. They also gave extra special care to all of our exotic plants. They had very good communication skills and were very polite and punctual. We would definitely recommend them!

When we were looking for bids for our yard maintenance, Jose quickly responded to our request for a bid (some other providers never even returned calls). He gave us a great price on yard maintenance. They come weekly and maintain our nearly 2 acres (mostly mowing, but some landscaping and tree pruning as well) for about $300/month. We are super pleased with the service we've had over the past 6 months and plan to continue using him.

the gorse was old and knotted, couldn't use a chain saw + it was on a hill and all the heavy debris had to be carried up hill to the driveway level. Back breaking. I called one day, Jose came and gave me a bid. He ha a crew there the next day at 9 AM. They removed the stuff right down to the ground. and left the driveway cleaner than when they came. Jose checked in with me during the work, and after it was finished. very professional.

Jose came with three helpers. They were right on time and they worked very hard.

It didn't start very well, they were 40 minuets late, but when they arrived they went right to work. They all worked hard for about three hours, They took out 9 Christmas trees, and fill in the holes, did some trimming, week pulling and hedging. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. that was great. Jose did a great job asking me what I wanted and was I happy with it. All in all think they did great. Thanks guys!

I contacted this company, and they got back to me the same day, stopped by and provided a bid which was right in our price range. There was no contract that we had to sign, just a verbal agreement to the weekly maintenance schedule. I send in my payment monthly. They have never missed a week, even showing up late in the evening on their maintenance day if they're running behind. They have treated our weeds, and trimmed our bushes, and our entire front yard is perfectly edged for the first time ever. I am very pleased with this service and would recommend. I was also pleased to see favorable ratings/comments on Angie's List for this service provider.

I received the estimate and O.K.'d the work on a Friday and they showed up promptly at 8:00 a.m. on Monday as they stated and began their work. The garden preparation and trimming was very well done, the best our yard has looked in many years. They raked dirt away from all of the sidewald and driveway areas so the barkdust would be level with the concrete when installed to the proper depth. The entire process was completed in about 5 hours and I couldn't be happier with their work.

I was very happy with how quickly Jose came and gave a bid on my yard clean up. The original cost was $1000, which was higher than some bids and lower than others. He came with his crew and they did a very good job of initial pruning and clearing away things which needed attention. We then negotiated on a reasonable price of $200 per month for weekly mowing and pruning. The odd thing is that he didn't give me an invoice despite repeated requests and I work so am not home to pay him regularly. It would be helpful to be able to call and talk to him in person to discuss things that need to be done on these regular visits, too, but that doesn't seem to work very well. Still, if you want an initial clean up by someone who seems to know what he is doing, this is your guy.

It was fine, although it was not up to my expectation. (This is based upon work done by another Landscape company at another property.)

Mr. Ramirez made time to give me an estimate the next day after I called and performed the work the following day. I appreciated not being added to a long list even though he has 20 customers he takes care of. He came out personally with only 1 person and did a very thorough job in less than a day. It was very hot out and they still moved very fast. Both Mr. Ramirez and his employee were very professional. Mr. Ramirez would periodically ask me questions to make sure he was doing what I wanted. I am going to employ his services on a bi-weekly basis to keep this 1/3 acre up for me. I was very pleased!

Jose was very responsive to my call for quote, came out the same week and perfomed the work the following Monday. Jose and his team did arrive an hour and half later than we agreed upon, however I know he had to travel a bit to get to Portland during a peak commute time. He discussed coming with two additional helpers, but only came with one. Given these minor setbacks, they still managed to complete the work quicker than promised and they did a wonderful job. I do think the price was a bit high as I have had similar work done for a cheaper price, but the quality, responsiveness and and kindess of Jose and his crew made up the rest. I would highly recommend Jose and his team to others; I may not use their services again for the sole fact of the distance they needed to travel - though he willingly took the project he did express that as one reason for the price tag.

It went well. Jose came in with his crew of two and had it in great shape in one day. They arrived about an hour later than their scheduled time, but it was quite rainy, and perhaps he thought it would let up some if he waited a bit. Jose was conscientious about checking with me throughout the process if there was anything about which he wasn't sure, and he asked me often to look at what they had done to be sure it was right. There was one area of edging I asked him to redo, and he was happy to please....no argument about that at all. It turned out looking fine. Jose cleaned up all the hard surfaces when they were done, so they looked good as new......no dirt or grass left lying about. He and his crew were courteous and worked hard the whole day, much of it in rain.

Did everything I asked them to do. Checked with me frequently if I was satisfied. I was.

After just 4 weeks my lawn is looking much better. They are always on time, do the work and clean up after themselves.

Jose was quick to respond to my request for an appraisal. He came out that day and asked to begin work. Before he left he tore out all the old brushes (down to the roots) and did what would have take me weeks to do in a matter of minutes. He came out no less than five times to finish this job and even took us out to the supplier to determine what kind of material we wanted. All said and done he charged less than half what a competitor would charge and quickly responded to any text or phone calls I made. Though his English is broken, he will take the time to understand what you want and make sure your are satisfied before he is done. He is an honest and hard working individual and I will use him again in the future. I should also note that he was willing to work with me on payment options.

They gave us a quote, they worked VERY HARD. Great job!!!!

My main complaint is that he is difficult to communicate as his command of the english language is lacking; not bad, but more difficult to try to negotiate. His price on replacing my lawn was very reasonable, but I think his monthly fees are too high, thus, since the two are tied together, I may not go with him. I have one more estimate coming before I make my final decision.

We had one major problem where Jose left the site for a short period, and in the time his workers cut all our blueberry bushes back so that we won't have any this year. Jose was extremely accommodating handling the big problem. He offered many alternatives, ad we finally settled on compensation for the lost blueberries. I just say that overall we were greatly pleased with all his services, and with the amazing way in which Jose handled our problem. Aside from this major issue with our blueberry bushes, everything else was flawless, and I very much liked his work. Even with the blueberries I was taken aback by the fantastic way he handled it, and with his solutions which made up for the mistake. I have since hired him to provide monthly maintenance to our yard, and am planning on hiring him for several other yard and maintenance jobs we need, and am recommending him to all my neighbors.

First called for landscaping quote. Mr. Ramirez came out gave a very reasonable quote for the work we wanted. Called him back discussed a different route regarding the yard and he came out that afternoon with another worker and completed the work within approximately 2 1/2 hours.

We were pleased with all aspects of our encounter with Mr Ramirez and his crew.

Mr. Ramirez came out to give me an estimate on yard clean up and I hired him on the spot since he gave me an offer I could not refuse ;). The price was just too good to pass up for all the work that was needed. His crew, as well as Mr. Ramirez came out and had my yard looking 100% better within a few hours. The amount of yard debris they took away packed up his whole truck and then some. After he was done my yard looked twice as big. I ended up hiring Mr. Ramirez for weekly maintenance since my yard has never looked this great! I'm really excited about the projects we can now start outside now that the cleanup is out of the way! I had gotten two other estimates for a clean up, but the cost was very high. I recommend Ramirez Landscaping to anyone who is overwhelmed and frustrated with their yard and wants it cleaned up. The weekly service is great too! What a nice surprise it was to come home from work to see a lovely yard that I didn't have to maintain....

Jose responded immediately to my initial phone call and was right on time for our first meeting. I thought his estimate for the work I wanted done was reasonable. A few days later, he came and took out the shrubs, cut back thehedge, cleaned and edged the flower beds and yard, as well as cleaned off the driveway. He did excellent work--everything looked perfect when I got home. I have hired him for regular, weekly service, and would highly recommend him.
