Description of Work: I added an extension onto my Pole Barn. Due to the local geography the layout had a few unique requirements that needed to be accounted for. They helped design the extension and provided a complete materials list. Materials were ordered and delivered right on time. They were very knowledgeable,helpful and price competitive.

+ -1 moreThe materials were delivered as promised at the quoted price. The written instructions were reasonably helpful. When I required additional help, Barncraft personnel were helpful in answering additional questions by phone. Once it was roughed in and I could see the actual structure, I anticipated making some changes to its finished appearance. I did make these additions at the appropriate time and I required additional materials for these changes. However, the material delivered by Barncraft was complete and sufficient for the original design. One timber was weakened by an old insect infestation. This was replaced by Barncraft without any problems. The completed shelters are very successful. The horses like them and we like them. After this project, I have received additional assistance and materials from Barncraft for additional remodeling projects and a sheet metal roofing project. I have been pleased with the results.
Description of Work: As I had pastures without shelters for my horses, I required assistance with designing and building pasture shelters. While I have some amount of building experience, I had no prior experience with pole barn construction techniques. I reviewed some books on pole barn building designs and techniques without a lot of success. None of the designs were what I wanted. I contacted Sylvia with Barncraft. At no cost to me, Sylvia designed a shelter to my specifications (I built three identical shelters). She provided the building diagram, written instructions on building techniques and the cost of the materials. The cost included delivery to my ranch building site. While Barncraft has a list of contractors who will build the structure, I did not use this service.
