+ -1 moreThe job started on Jan 30, 2014 and took 3 weeks. We were very pleased with the subcontractors. They were professional, skilled, prompt, and friendly. I felt comfortable with them in my house. I was not as pleased with the misc. painting. Old surfaces should have been more evenly sanded. Brush strokes and drips were visible. The demolition trash remained on my front deck causing us to walk around it daily. We put it in our truck until the contractor removed it on the last day.
Description of Work: The job was to update a small 1977 bathroom. This included replacing the shower stall and vanity with reconnected plumbing (the plumbing was not moved except for the repositioning of the shower head), installing a fan, recovering the ceiling, painting the ceiling, walls, closet doors and replacing a window. Two pocket doors were exchanged between the laundry room and the bath. We removed the wallpaper, flooring, shower stall, moldings, lights, vanity and replaced the toilet prior to their start date. This was my first remodel. I hope that I not been too critical.
