Gorgeous Window & Gutter

My family is extremely pleased with the service we received from Gorgeous Window and Gutter. The owner/operator Josh was friendly, professional, and remarkably effective. He even took the time to make a friend of my 3 year old who was fascinated by his ladders and blower. It’s rare to find such competent help from someone I also found so pleasant to be around. I can’t recommend Gorgeous Window and Gutter highly enough for any of your exterior cleaning service.

Great! The house looks terrific. There are two very large Deodor cedars quite close to the house, so there were a lot of needles, etc to handle. Josh did the cleaning and de-mossing thoroughly and left everything looking clean and tidy. The part of my roof that has a membrane coating had concerned me , but Josh took care of it, too. He arrived when he said he would, did what he said he would, answered my questions and was very pleasant to deal with.

Josh Elkind sent reminder emails a couple of days in advance of his arrival, stating time of expected arrival and the tasks contracted for. He was friendly, efficient, tidy, and polite. I first hired him in 2020 to clean our gutters and wash our windows and were so impressed that we immediately signed him up for an annual return. We do not regret our decision, for we are thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of his work. We recommend him highly, even enthusiastically (even if that means that might have steep competition in engaging his services!).

Josh is the absolute best. He is prompt. His moss removal and gutter cleaning are thorough and effective. The windows sparkle when he is finished. And he does it all with such smile and big heart that we look forward to seeing him every year. Hire him! You'll be very glad that you did.

Josh did an excellent job getting the moss off our roof. We don't have gutters so he recommended a product for treating the newly cleaned roof that won't harm the plants in the gardens below. Very impressed with the cleanup too. We'll be on a regular schedule with him for moss/roof treatment going forward.

Excellent. My roof is steep, and 3 stories up. Others have balked at doing it. Josh had not problem walking the roof and did an excellent job. He even pointed out missing shingles and was able to patch them at the same time,

Great work! We are thankful Josh could attach a shade screen kit to some very high windows that had been reflecting and concentrating beams of sunshine on to our neighbor’s porch like a magnifying glass, melting and nearly igniting items on their porch. Now that the screens are installed our neighbors can enjoy their porch again and we are happy our windows will not be destroying their furniture or starting any fires!

Josh Elkind responded to my initial inquiry within 48 hours and provided me with an estimate of the total cost for performing both jobs on my two-story home and two-car garage. I found the estimate reasonable and decided not to look further against all the advice that one gets on obtaining at least three estimates. However, Georgeous Windows and Gutters is a one-man show and I have a preference for owner-operators. I have found that an individual who is in business for himself will be quite reliable and professional because his success depends on the best job he can do. Josh included the skylight in his estimate for 24 windows. Cleaning it turned out to be a bit of a challenge, but he found a way around the solar panels that surround the roof window. While on the top roof, Josh discovered mold growing under the solar panels. He went ahead and treated the mold problem. Later he told me what he had done without obtaining prior approval and offered to simply "donate" that service which normally runs $25. I reassured him that he did the right thing to take care of the unexpected problem while that high up and that I was grateful for his initiative. I rejected his offer of free service. When the job was completed I inspected the garden and side walk for all the debris that Josh had dislodged from the gutters. He had cleaned everything up and put it in the compost bin. I had such a positive experience with Josh Elkind of Gorgeous Windows and Gutters that I immediately scheduled him to return on an annual basis. I can highly recommend him and the quality of the services that he provides.
