AGERSEA CONSTRUCTION

We hired Darryl for a construction job because he lived down the street from us and a neighbor said they were hiring him to do a large remodel job on their house as well. Darryl had a couple guys working on the job for him and he would show up for a few minutes each day, which is fine- until it wasn't. The workers were extremely slow (sometimes high or didn't show up at all) and Darryl was supposed to be my point of contact, however he never knew what was going on. He would argue with me and even with his own guys about work that was or wasn't being done. Darryl left for vacation and nothing got done while he was gone. We asked for a meeting so that we could find out where our job was at and he showed up fists clenched and yelling! From that point on things went downhill fast. Darryl became extremely passive aggressive and the work got worse and worse. Long story short- our job took three times longer than it should have, we were given a bill that was three times more than it was quoted and were told that that is normal and we should have planned on it tripling "because that's normal for construction"- even though nothing was ever said about overages. He demanded payment within full within 24 hours and threatened to place a lien on our home. The job was only 3/4 of the way finished at this point! We had to fire Darryl and his company and hire multiple contractors to come in and fix shorty work and finish so that we could have a functioning home again. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Spoke to my neighbor and they had a similar experience- their bill also tripled- for no reason!

So far they did great. The projects, they just literally starting to turn over this week. I think he's very aware of keeping the process in mind. They're very easy to talk to. He has a lot of his own resources and has his own landfill. I had a pretty good experience. I would use them again in the future.
