The quality and skill of their painting work is excellent. I appreciated the professionalism and high integrity shown by Stan and his crew. Stan gives very sound advice. In addition to painting the house, they repaired leaky gutters that had caused me issues.. They focused on jobs that they can do well, and recommended that I find other experts for jobs they cannot take on. I felt that they had my best interest at heart. When one of the downspouts came loose (simple mis-step) a few weeks later, I called and Stan responded immediately and fixed it. I will hire them again, and recommend to others.

I had dark cherry cabinets re-lacquered by Western Accents Inc. because the finish of the cabinets had not held up well. Stan Wryn is very easy to talk with, very professional, and very respectful (even offering to remove shoes when entering the house, for example). I had a hard time deciding whether to paint or refinish my cabinets. Stan was very patient and answered all my questions. His foreman and the crew were also very polite, professional, and on time. The existing finish on my cabinets looked worn and even streaky. Stan’s team masked everything well and took the drawers and doors to the shop for sanding and re-lacquering which made for less mess in my kitchen. Of course, the cabinet boxes have to be finished in situ. I am very happy with the end result. I had other quotes and chose this company because of the type of products they use (I think this job will last) and because I liked Stan. (Still do.)

Stan came by twice before the job to make sure he had measured and had all the specifications for the colors and paint in place before the big week arrived. We consulted back and forth on work I did in advance of taking off several layers of wallpaper and getting an older home's walls in shape for paint. We worked with him on the details of trim colors and how to paint the trim. We worked hard to empty out three large rooms of furniture and accessories and then we vacated the house for a week so he and his crew could do their magic. They sanded, primed, painted all the woodwork, restoring previous glumpy looking paint jobs to original glory. I don't know how best to say this: this is a 100 year old house - it looks like it's a brand new paint job. It was important to me that I work as hard as they worked to restore everything. It looks just great - when we stepped back inside our home a week later we were just stunned at the transformation. It's so beautiful we just love it every day. We wish we had new furniture to match the new paint job! (We will, in time....) Stan kept us informed every step of the way and repeatedly consulted with us to make sure the job was done to our specifications. We really appreciated his willingness to show up in person a couple of times to advise us on how best to prepare everything for his crew. They cleaned everything up - we never saw one scrap of evidence that they'd worked so hard in our house - this was truly a professional group of people who take pride in their work.

I have used them before as well. They were expensive for painting two rooms. I was not very happy with them. They were terribly expensive for what they did. They were nice but I will never use them again. They were on time.

Our house is a 1920 bungalow with old concrete and asbestos shingles. They were superbly high rated on the list, especially for renovation projects. The paint was in good condition, but we hated the color from the previous owner. The original guy that owns the company and his partner are just excellent painters and we just happen to get the BC team. It turned out that, they were giving somebody a promotion and allowing him to be the foreman and they did not check on him. The owner was on vacation and his second in command didn’t over see this foreman’s first job in charge. His crew did a lousy job because they did not like him and he panicked and did not call the office, so they all did a really lousy job. Their prices was expensive compared to other people we had in to give us an estimate. When the owner and we got back after vacation and we complained and he pulled his good crews off other jobs to come in and repair. Once you have done a bad job to begin with, the rest is just cosmetics on top and I am still picking up razor blades and screws and stuff from around the yard. I would ask somebody to call them and get an estimate again and if they use them, just make sure they keep their eyes on them because all the bad work was done when we were away. The job took so long and they also had to redo it. The owner was very apologetic, but the best thing he was going to don was have his crew paint over it, so I would not use them again. The crews were supposed to spackle or bondo where that wasn’t in great position. They would not do stuff that was out of site and the over spray was really callous and over sprayed over windows and painted over locks and the doorbell. They did not do detailed work and did not think that needed to do their best job. They did pick up, but when they were cleaning their brushes, they rinsed them out up against the fence and now that had spray on it.

All of the wood surfaces had been painted before and were in poor condition with chipped paint. Our main concern was having the wood painted smoothly without any brush marks or spray marks showing. We are so pleased with the results! The painters spent time filling flaws and prepping the surfaces. Every wood surface is so smooth. Stan came over a couple times before the project started to discuss what we wanted. We were able to schedule the job when we planned to be out of town because it would have been very difficult to be in the house during the painting. The painters were able to disarm our alarm and then reset it at the end of the day. After the job was done, Stan stopped by again to make sure we were satisfied.

It went very well. They were very quick and finished under the estimated time. There were a couple of things I asked them to come back and fix and they did without any questions.

Stan and his crew did an excellent job. He was in contact the whole time, the crew was punctual and paid attention to detail. They were cheerful and neat. We were very pleased.
