Description of Work: Majic Painting was great! They came in and painted our main hallways and entryway in less time than the allotted quote. They were clean and professional, and did a great job with close attention to detail. I feel the price was fair, and would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Description of Work: I took a last minute apt. which I wouldn't recommend as he came without supplies to do the job. It was for 7 hours & ended up being 5.5 hours as he had to leave for supplies. He was super easy to have in my house & did a good job on Sheetrock repair, but again lacked supplies to remove wallpaper so that did not turn out very well.

Description of Work: They were unreliable with scheduling and very hard to communicate with. They did not show up when they said they would. They called to say they were coming on a day where they were not scheduled. They were unable to say when they would come, because of being back-up, but that did not explain the several mix-ups, which caused a lot of inconvenience. The painter who did eventually show up was nice and professional, and did a decent job.

Description of Work: Majic was great! They were able to fit our job in at the exact time we wanted and even though it was a small job, they still treated us like we mattered. The estimator and the painter were both right on time, and the job was finished in significantly less time than we had expected. Added bonus: the work was done in our office, on a work day, with absolutely no disruption to our normal business.

Description of Work: Got a wonderful deal. Jayson and his team from beginning (Andrea was the scheduler and always got back to me when I had a question) to end were extremely professional and explained everything from beginning to end in detail. When Dave (I believe that was his name, my sincere apologies if that is not correct)arrived my husband showed him the work that needed to be done he indicated that it shouldn't be very long, got right to work and finished it up even before we expected. I would absolutely recommend this company again and will use them in the future for any of our needs. Couldn't be happier with the experience.

+ 5 moreThe work was just great. Working Majic one home at a time is right!! We are so happy we called Majic Painting. Jayson (the owner) came over in the evening to meet with us, which might of been the first sign that we really liked him and his company, we work late and got turned down by other companies. His proposal was easy to read, and he offered answers to the many follow up questions we had, it was a big purchase for us. It's nice when you call his company you get to talk to him direct. He had his color consultant, Kelly (a real interior designer) come by and go over all the color options and that was so nice not having to deal with running to a paint store! Her knowledge of color and his history of products and procedures as an owner operator is a great one-two punch! Did I mention he was on the job the entire time. That's so rare I hear most companies don't do that, just send over "worker"? Originally Majic Painting was just gonna do the kitchen cabinets, but we really loved the idea of running that wall paper "out of town" they added some down molding in the room and some tile at the back splash, and then with the great weather we have had we decided to do our deck! He even gave me some flowers for the spring deck, which I soooo long for. They also gave us a thank you card you will love as well! I promised Jayson I wouldn't ruin the surprise when you get it from him. We can't say enough nice things about this company that came all the way from the Midwest to (as Jayson says) open up shop! Thank you Majic Painting: Jayson, Kelly, Chris, Jesus, "Benji", and Matt. P.s. we want them back, to do our exterior this summer or next, hope it turns out just as great.

On the bathroom project, he was incredibly flexible and patient, willing to work well outside the original scope of the project, helping us figure out how to deal with "old house" issues, and had great referrals to other professionals to help finish the job. He and his crew are always on time, they are upfront about costs, always staying within budget and keeping us informed about what's going on with the project. He had great recommendations for how to manage costs and still get the results we wanted too.
Description of Work: We have a rental unit and have used Jayson several times because he always does great work. Initially we had some old windows that had been painted shut and needed to be stripped and repainted so that they would work. Since they did such a good job-- on time, on budget, available on our schedule, everyone showed up when they were supposed to-- we kept adding to the project. Ultimately Majic refinished a deck for us; removed some wallpaper, fixed up the walls and repainted; and did our "project from h***"-- what was supposed to be a small project to spruce up a bathroom but that mushroomed into a full remodel.

+ 2 moreWe were hopeful that they could complete our exterior, but with the rainy and cold weather coming we were getting nervous. Jayson, the owner was very calming. Assuring us we had enough time and if we didn't we could get a FULL refund. Thats where the other painters just couldn't measure up. To give back a deposit is just unheard of. They had a promotion that we took advantage of when we thought they just couldn't wow us anymore... boy were we surprised. A lil wall paper removal in a bathroom and some faux finishes in the family room to go along with an awesome interior paint job. Jayson said he has been in the business since 2000, and I can say he is a seasoned veteran. Not to mention his crew treated our home with such care and were perfect gentlemen. We joked with Jayson, saying he moved to Porland just in time to work his Majic just for us. We are in talks to have them do our old kitchen cabinets after the holidays. I would recommend Majic Painting to anyone who looks for a trusting painting company.
Description of Work: Majic Painting was originally doing our house exterior and our deck. They had an option to do what they call "crew cuts" and I am so glad they suggested this. We had our pick of the whole crew and when everything was done we had our interior painting and some wall paper removed as well.
