Response from SERVPRO of Cedar Mill
Sorry you feel this way, Wish you would of brought these topics up when we did this work 5 months ago with us instead of waiting all this time and finally letting go of these feelings here. I imagine it was frustrating for you, and I am sorry for that. I will say that we did ask you to purchase the paint... for this promotion. This deal that angies list sold you was for a small room, walls only at a set price and time. You asked if we could stay and do more work so we negotiated a set time per hour and a not to exceed number. Part of being able to offer such low hourly rates is that you were able to some of the leg work. All of this was explained multiple times as you kept asking me why. I made mention that we could retrieve paint for you at an hourly rate just like the work but you wanted to keep the price down. As for not having drops? We certainly did, you had the room covered in blankets and we moved the unnecessary ones but to say we didnt have drops is just not true, same as paint splatter there was so much old paint splatter and again we asked if we could remove it, and when you found out that we would charge you hourly you asked us to stop, 15 min into cleaning old paint. On a side note it was great talking to you about all your art you have accumulated on your travels over the years. Included your 200 year old bed! That shadow line on the wall that you thought we painted a different color is something we still talk about today, when you thought we moved the line 2 hours later as the shadow line moved was something funny. I wish you the best of luck and really wanted this project to be great for you and that is why we threw in free ceilings, free faux on that shelf you said all your friends thought was beautiful, you tipped my crew and we set you a thank you and comment cards that never came back, all indicators that we did a nice job? please call me when there is any issues ~jayson
