Scholls Lawncare and Landscape LLC

Description of Work: We have a small front yard that we are looking to get landscaped. We hired a designer and have plans in hand, but needed a landscaper to do the work. Scholls came out to do the bid (approximately 5k), which we accepted around mid June. They suggested we do it in the fall, so they said they’d touch base in September to schedule for Sept/Oct. Through some back and forth, we landed on the week of Oct 5. On Sept 25, we contacted them to confirm we were still on track for that week (they said yes and indicated we’d see some markings in yard). On October 3rd they emailed and said they would need to push us out to mid November due to some interruptions on their current job and gave us the names of 2 companies they work with if we wanted to check their availability. We decided we would stick with Scholls (although we were concerned about the weather). They did say it would be a bit gamble with a couple of the elements but should be fine. On Oct 8 we asked if we could have a solid date for early November because we wanted to use them. It’s now Oct 14 and still no response. We suspect they may consider our job too small and not worth their time, but they should have just told us that and we could have found someone else. At this point we are too late in the year to get this done and need to wait until next year. While it was relatively small, we kept it that way to see how the experience went with plans on doing additional work in the future.
