RAMOS CLEAN UP

Description of Work: Ramos did a major clean up of all flower beds, plant and tree trimming and compost application. Very pleased with the job that they did.

Description of Work: They dug out about 4inches of dirt from our 50'x50'dog run and replaced it with wood chips. They came sooner than expected (which was good). Had a 2-4 person crew and finished it in 6 hours. I thought that they were going to take out more dirt than they did but the crew put the chips on before we were able to look at the removal. The crew was professional and very kind.

Description of Work: We contacted them for a estimate. It took a while for them to get back to us and I had to contact a second time to set up an appointment. When he did arrive, he was polite and punctual. We have not heard back from him. I contacted them again to see if they had their estimate or were interested in the work. The only response I got is that they must not have the right email address for us, however they could contact us through Angie's list or our email or phone which I already verified that they had. It was even in the thread I responded to that said they didn't have it? Very disappointing and a waste of my time. |

Description of Work: they have cut down trees and done a careful, professional job. Now they do our lawn care and do not use a blower which I enjoy.

Description of Work: I received a bid from RAMOS Clean up that was 2-3 times higher than what I had received from other established companies. I expected that I would receive an email estimate within a day or 2 of Douglas viewing the job site but instead I had to email him to get a bid which came 3 days after my request. It's not worth going into the specifics of the bid other than to say that the pricing was absurdly high and the owner was not listening very carefully to me when I told him what I wanted.

Description of Work: I used Ramos Clean Up about a year ago for landscaping services because we were putting our home in the market.

Description of Work: Yard clean-up and maintenance. They mowed, aerated, dethatched, reseeded, edged and fertilized my lawns; pruned many bushes by machine; sprayed weed-killer; created a simple vegetable garden by rototilling soil into clay and making a path and steps. Great clean-up. The vegetable garden required a second visit as they hadn't mixed the soil into the clay properly, but they came out the same afternoon I called and fixed it, quite fittingly at no extra charge. They also put in several plants and were very willing to do additional things if I asked them to. They arranged for a sprinkler guy to come the same afternoon to take care of the whole system and to add a few heads. Paid separately. I'd say the costs felt high but they were probably reasonable. You can get a crew cheaper (say at $20/hr, not $30 per person) but I was satisfied with the quality after the problem was fixed. This report condenses 2 visits (not counting the one to fix the veggie garden), both of which took a day each.

Description of Work: The Ramos team was amazing! They transformed my property in a matter of days -- removing trees, cutting back ferns, pulling ivy, and hauling everything away. It was like magic. The Ramos team is now on my speed dial and Ive set up a monthly service. Super responsive too - including weekend calls and email appointments. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: Most recently performed yard clean-up and brought in barkdust and gravel. We have used Ramos many times over the past 10 years for yard work including clean-up and installation of landscape (hard and soft) including a major revamp of our backyard which involved removal of a dozen trees and shrubs and installation of a new lawn - a huge job that they completed in 36 hours. They have been way under all others estimates, and done the work promptly and as requested. They can be difficult to get hold of at times, but once contacted, things roll!

Description of Work: I have been using Ramos Clean Up for about a year to do lawn / yard maintenance. They mow and edge my lawn, weed and rake the yard every 2 weeks. They are reliable and do a great job. I wish I would have hired them 15 years ago!

Description of Work: My sprinkler system broke down and he immediately came in the evening to do the repair work. I received different quotes and I felt it was a little bit expensive but he did a good job. So overall, I would definitely recommend him.

Description of Work: Very prompt and friendly coming to give bid. Not an aborist so couldnt do the whole job I needed, but definitely a guy I would trust to do more basic maintenance etc.
