Description of Work: in 2008 they removed cement tiles and cedar shingles; installed plywood and shingles. They did not tell us that we needed additional venting for the vaulted ceiling. We are now dealing with the fall out from their failing to advise us properly. Quality Plus refused to assist us with this problem.

+ -1 moreI was very glad to work with Quality Plus as they fixed the poor work done by prior (and unresponsive) contractor. Their price was a bit above average, but the work they did was worth every bit. They came on time, worked hard, cleaned up on time, and were respectful of my property throughout.
Description of Work: They repaired roof leaks caused by prior contractor's poor nailing, supported a sagging porch roof and replaced the covering on the porch with a much better material (torchdown).

Description of Work: I spent three years researching the type of roof I wanted. This past summer, I looked at a 1/2 dozen roofs and contacted four contractors and received six estimate bids. I checked the Oregon License Board, the CCB and other contractors' professional affiliations. Charlie Remington, Quality Plus Roofing, worked with me and I ended up selecting a better quality shake for a cost within my price range. The tear off crew and the roof installers worked beyond the call of duty everyday for ten days. I work at home, so I had the opportunity to watch the work as it progressed. The entire crew work were scheduled closely together and worked well with one another. At the end of everyday, the property was cleaned up. Some minor details that a home owner might miss were taken care of; eg; they installed and removed tarps across the insulation in the ceiling crawl spaces to catch the debris from the tear off and installation process, they hammered back the shake staples in a crawl space that I am in and out of; so not to have any sharp pointed staples above my head in the future, they vacuumed the debris from the crawl spaces, they protected my yard plants and deck furniture, etc. Once the job was completed, my husband, an ex-roofer inspected the final job and did not find one concern. In fact, he said that the overall installation was more than he expected. I would recommend Quality Plus Roofing to anyone. I am so thrilled with my roof that I go out to the street just to look at it. Regards, Linda

+ -1 moreMy initial contact was by phone (thanks to Angie's List). They responded with a very complete and detailed quotation and contract for me to sign and return. The work was done on a Saturday and they appeared on time. The quality of the materials and workmanship was excellent. They even accommodated a difficult connection with a drain pipe that I thought I would have to have done by another contractor. Details of the gutter and down pipe designs were impressive. I'm quite pleased.
Description of Work: All gutters and downspouts were replaced.

+ -1 moreI had an afternoon appointment with QPR. I met Charlie from QPR. He came over from giving my neighbor an estimate for their roof. He did not bother to go on the roof. He had never heard of the ShingleVent II brand ridge venting. He told me they use Cobra brand. He gave me an approximate estimate of $1200.00 verbally which I thought was a bit high. He said he would have to contact his supplier to give me an estimate for ShingleVent II. Well, that was the last I heard from Mr. Richard. I had heard good things about QPR and that is why I called them. There was also one good rating in Angie's list.
Description of Work: Estimate for installing 70 feet of ridge vent along two ridges.

Description of Work: Tear off 2 comps over wood shingles and reroof with composition shingles. Includes installation of plywood, 40 lb UDL underlayment, pre-painted edge metal at gable edges, flashing, ridgeline vents, hip and ridge and remove all roofing debris.

+ -1 moreEXCELLENT. THEY SHOWED UP ON TIME, THEY WENT RIGHT AT IT. THEY PLAYED WITH MY GRAND DAUGHTER AND ENTERTAINED HER WHILE THEY WORKED. JUST REALLY NICE GUYS AND THEY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY. THEY GAVE ME A PRICE AND THEY STUCK TO THE PRICE. THEY ARE REALLY GOOD.
