Great service. They contacted me within minutes of completing the Angi form. They came out the same day and gave a very reasonable quote. They then came out four days later, and the job was done within one day. The tech was very professional and very tidy, and the job looks great. I highly recommend them.

Fast and excellent work

JR Insulation responded quickly to my inquiry, showed up and gave a couple of estimates based on the level of work that needed to be completed. It was priced exactly as I would expect and I appreciate the guidance on setting up expectations on what next steps needed to be taken, for example...once the drywall work is done, painting still needs to be completed and is not included. It was fair to call it out separately and I appreciate that clarification. The workers were fast and fantastic...the work is perfect. No complaints and literally, no clean up necessary by me. I REALLY appreciate that!

I chose to utilize JR Insulation partly because they could do both the drywall and insulation work but that ended up not being a good idea as they are not honest or trustworthy. We hired JR Insulation to insulate the walls (rolled batts) and attic area (blow-in) of our 40x60 shop in addition to installing the drywall on our shop ceiling. They did the work, and we paid them in full the second they were done but before they were fully cleaned up as we had to leave. When we returned we discovered that they left drywall mud all over on our newly painted shop man door. It was splattered from the top to the bottom of the door and was very noticeable. They had to have seen they did it when they closed the door. I messaged them as soon as I saw it and they came out to clean it up that day. If that is where this ended I would have given them 5 stars. Unfortunately, that is not where this ends. A few weeks later it was unseasonably warm outside and my husband was in the shop working. He felt like it was really warm in the shop for having it fully insulated and thought it was very odd. He decided to install an attic access hatch as they had not done that when they installed the drywall on the ceiling. When he opened the ceiling he found that NO INSULATION had been installed in the attic area at all. Nothing was up there. They installed the drywall and, I am not sure if they forgot to blow it before closing the ceiling up or if they did it on purpose realizing we had no attic access so we could not check to see if they installed the blow-in insulation even though we paid them in full for it, but they did not insulate the attic at all. When I called to tell them what we discovered Javier did not seem surprised at all, I told him very generally where the house was and he immediately knew what I was talking about. It was clear he was aware of this work not being done whether it was a preplanned thing or if he realized he had some serious stock of blow-in insulation that had not been installed. It was like he was bummed that we discovered it so quickly. Oh OK, yeah. We can come out on Thursday and take care of that for you. He did come out and install the insulation without further work on my part but had we not made the attic access we would not have known we paid them for work not done. This is a 40x60 shop with R30 in the attic area so the leftover materials would be noticeable to him. He was fully aware this work was not done and he did nothing to remedy the situation. He never even apologized for it.

There is nothing better than a contractor who start and ends on schedule, has no additional charges and does fantastic work! After a full re-pipe we had massive hole in the ceiling and walls. When these guys were done, there wasnâ t a trace of repair and they did a great job cleaning after the work was complete.

Javier, the owner, was quite responsive in getting my drywall installation project off the ground, especially via phone, and the team he sent out (mostly one person, Enrique, although he had help hanging the larger pieces at the beginning of the project) was efficient, professional, and friendly. I’m very happy with the job they did on my shed, thrilled with the price compared to other quotes I received, and am looking forward to having JR Insulation Drywall, Inc. out again when I’m ready for the next phase of my project.

They did a great job with my small basement drywall project. Finished super fast and quality of the work was great. Only complaint would be that they’re not great about email/text communication. Phone is somewhat inconvenient sometimes.

The crew showed up on time, came prepared, worked efficiently, took care to make sure the areas not worked on were covered and projects areas were cleaned up afterwards. Work was done well. I ended up paying about $150 per hour for the work. The time included a rather long stop in the bathroom.

We called on Saturday regarding redo in our kitchen. Javier came by our home on Tuesday, and they were 'rocking and taping that Saturday. Javier Made several suggestions all which proved to be dead-on. The crew was done Wednesday, including skim coat on one wall not rocked, and all walls and ceiling primed. Javier, Cindy and crew get a GOLD STAR for their work.
