JLV construction did a great job on replacing my roof on my home. From the initial appointment to estimate the job to completing the project, they were professional and accommodating. They didn’t outstanding job of cleaning up during the project. Nephi was amazing to work with and had great communication.

I had three construction companies that came out to give me an estimate of my roof replacement. I choose JLV construction because they were not pushy and Oliver really explained things throughly. He worked with me on picking singles and put up with me changing my mind many times. Oliver was very at giving me choices and giving his advice. Oliver came out after job was done and made sure all nail and worksight was clean. Which it was. Never knew anyone was her except for my beautiful roof. I highly recommend JVL construction. Fair price, great people and a great needed job for a fair price. I will surely use them again. Thank you to Oliver.

We picked JLV Construction to replace our roof in early January after getting several quotes, as they bid a fair price and had good reviews. Nephi was excellent to work with and Carlos & team did a great job, they brought in a large crew to complete the project in 2 days before a heavy storm came through. We would definitely recommend them!

WOW!!! Words cannot express how blown away we were by Juan and his team (Armando and Daniel worked on our project) at completely residing our home. Starting with the bid process, Juan was the only contractor who brought out materials for us to actually visually see the differences of why he prefers to work with some products over others and to also show how his crew will use the products to ensure that the home is protected against the weather. After completely walking the home with us and actively listening to our ideas, he made gentle suggestions based on his industry experience and current design trends. He was never pushy or arrogant. We loved his ideas and incorporated them into our design. Beth, his Admin Assistant, was absolutely amazing to work with. She was always available to us and we felt like she could answer any question we had as well as Juan could!! Juan and his crew were great stewards of the construction materials and our budget!!! We noticed early on that they had created a "scrap pile" so that usable smaller pieces would not go to waste on smaller repair sections of our home. We appreciated that they did not grab a new sheet of plywood for every repair considering the cost of wood these days. They saved us sooooo much money doing this! We are so grateful!!!!! The craftsmanship and skill level of everyone involved, including the painters, completely transformed our home from one in desperate need of repair to a dream home worthy to be bragged about! We cannot recommend this company enough and look forward to working with them again when the time comes to replace our doors, redo our deck, and install some fencing! Thank you JLV!!!!

I needed a new roof, new gutters and an exterior paint job this spring. I did a bunch of research and chose JLV because they could do all of the work and had good reviews on Yelp and Angie's list. I have a 6000 sq ft roof and I wanted Malarkey shingles. JLV is Malarkey certified and trained. Asael responded to my quote request quickly as well as to my many questions, some of which required changes to the quote. Once the jobs started, communication between the crews and me and Luis, the supervisor and me were very good. I knew what was going on all the time. I'm very pleased with the work I got and will recommend them in a second.

Asael was very responsive and arrived at the stated time. He provided the quote at the time he stated he would. He gave us a timeline and their team was actually able to start our roof a day early (after calling to confirm that was ok). Their team was very good to keep us informed of the plan, and they left the area around our house very well cleaned. JLV also used quality materials. We are very happy with our new roof and would highly recommend JLV Construction!

These folks were awesome. From estimation (by Asael) to job completion (2.2 days - 1st day for teardown/ 2nd day for new roof / part day for completion and installation of skylight.) Many pictures of the project from start to completion - they found and repaired any damage from age and water. The total experience was excellent - the price was also VERY competitive.

JLV replaced our roof and gutters and also replaced our poorly functioning attic ventilation with Ridge Vents for exhaust at the top and Smart Vents at the bottom for air intake. Juan met with us patiently answering our many questions and addressing our concerns. His bid was competitive very detailed and charges itemized so we could see exactly what we were getting and what we were paying for. Office staff, Liz and Yaneth, were most helpful with timely replies to emails and phone calls, as well as keeping us informed when schedule changes needed to be made. We were very pleased with the conscientious crew and the completed project and were surprised at the extent to which the new ventilation system helped inside temps on the hot summer days. Juan's integrity and professional manner are real assets to this company.

I located JLV Construction on Angies List while looking for a local roofer. They were highly rated on Angies list with many positive reviews and I wanted to use a local business. I sent a request for them to provide me with a quote to tear off my existing roof and install a new roof. Within 1 hour I was contacted by one of their employees who scheduled a time and date to provide me with an estimate. Asael showed right on time and spoke with me regarding the work that I wanted done, he inspected my roof and told me he would email me a quote providing the cost including all of the work and materials they would provide. A few hours later I had that quote. I also contacted two other local roofing companies so I could get some competitive bids. One company took 2 days to respond and the other took 3 days. Not a great start. The next couple of days I went over the quotes and compared cost to service on all. During this time I emailed and called Asael several times with questions and each time he responded quickly and he answered all of my questions. I contracted with JLV Construction because of great reviews, a local company, competitive price and they were the one company that acted in a manner that said we value you and your business. Asael called and told me the crew would be at my house early Tuesday morning, the crew showed up when they were scheduled to and went right to work. After the first day they had stripped the existing roof off, replaced the sheets of plywood that were bad and installed the new underlayment. Day 2 came and the crew showed up bright and early and went to work. By the end of day 2 my new roof was installed, my yard was completely cleaned and anything they had moved out of their way had been put back. Very rarely these days do I feel that a company over delivers on their promise but in this case they did. From the initial contact to the final inspection everything was handled professionally, they were there when they said they would be and the new roof looks great. Many thanks for a great experience. We contracted JLV Construction LLC on May 2020, they quoted us a new roof and paint the front and back of the home, pricing, product, and demonstrated workmanship made it very compelling to go with them from the get-go. We went this the CertainTeed roofing system with a 50yr warranty and Sherwin Williams exterior paint. JLV Team was able to do the roof removal and install and 2 days and paint the house the 3rd day. JLV workers and owner were present throughout the entire project, they showed excellent workmanship and professionalism. Everything was very well planned and discussed with us every morning. We had a good idea what was the daily plan and expectations. Team made a thorough cleanup; we did not get any neighbor complaints. We are very pleased with the result and would recommend them to anyone interested in either roofing or exterior painting.

Wanted to share the experience I just had with JLV Re-Roofing my 27 year old roof. From the time I was contacted by them to come out for a Free estimate to the time they drove the trailer away after the job was done, these guys were FIRST Class! The salesman, AR, did a fantastic job paying close attention to details that all the other companies missed during my bidding process. He pointed out things like my bathroom fan vents were going out thru my intakes and needed flapper vents installed in the roof for them. He also took note of my skylight and advised it get replaced while the roof was new. He asked about installing a roof anchor for safety to help with maintaining my roof. Little things yes, but things that are VERY important to protecting my main asset! Most of the other guys just came, took some measurements, and said I will send you a quote in a few days via email, without even asking me what I wanted in my new roof (i.e. HIGH profile ridge, what type of shingles, warranty I was looking for, etc.). One company was more interested in changing my attic ventilation all around and getting it up to the latest code, when NONE of my plywood was moldy or rotten and it is not required by law so why change what has worked for 27 years! JLV confirmed my house had adequate and equal intake and exhaust, and that we did not need to cut a bunch of new holes in the roof or eaves. That is the kind of straight up honesty you will get with JLV. The work crew was phenomenal! It took them two days to tear off and re-roof my 29 square home. During the project, the foreman would check in with me on how it was looking and if I had any questions or concerns. The crew paid attention to every detail in my quote and did an incredible job! I am one happy customer and would recommend JLV to anybody out there looking to put a new roof on their house. Don't be timid by the size of this company. Great! JLV Construction was fantastic. They were professional and courteous. They communicated thoroughly and consistently throughout the project. The entire crew worked hard all day. The quality of their work was excellent, timely and costs were reasonable. Highly recommend this outfit!

Excellent customer service. Quick to respond, always on time, hard working, cleaned up after themselves, fast and efficient in their work, listened and responded to our concerns and helped explain and ... they knew their stuff... recognized the venting issue and gave us answers to address both the Intake and venting issues of our roof where others focused on the venting they didn't focus on the intake fixes needed. As well, per our request - due to the poor roof job done when the house was originally built in the 50's, we worked with them to get additional rafters added where needed and had the 2/4s all replaced with 2x6 rafters , resheeted with new plywood the whole house versus just the 10 sheets everyone quoted. Had a New Gutter system installed. Couple minor things found on the final walk thru that was immediately fixed! Loved working with them even with all our requests beyond the normal asks they were friendly and went over and beyond in my opinion - staying till late the first day of the tear-off and resheet to get the waterproof underlayment completed before the scheduled rain... thankfully, the rain held for 3 days till everything was done. Considering all that was done.. .the price was exceptional! Great Local company! Very happy with the outcome! Would definitely consider them for future projects. And recommend to others as well! Juan was extremely professional. He provided me with every detail that was going to be done on the job. He broke out the cost, so I could see what I was paying for. The men who did the roofing, windows and interior construction were great! The yard was cleaned up thoroughly. I was extremely impressed! I would give the 10 stars hands up!

Juan provided us with a thorough estimate and gave us options for our roofing project. The crew was courteous and completed the job faster than we had anticipated. Marvelous company, best roof ever and they did a very good job. attention to detail, worked well with the customer, respond quickly to customer request. I was very satisfied and I love them because they worked as a family. They were very customer friendly and high quality work. Their pricing is fair and reasonable. I will be having them do painting on a very old property and do another home for me in the future. Highly recommend them to anyone.
