I approached Paula for help with my backyard after finally having a large tree cut down. With the tree gone, all I could see was the ugly concrete wall of the business behind me. When Paula first came out to see my backyard I was impressed that we spent most of that first meeting inside talking about what kind of features I'd like to have in my yard. We talked about garden maintenance, native plants, how i'd like to use the space, seating, and planting areas. She got me thinking of my yard in terms of potential instead of just "making the best" of what I had - a small yard with a big, ugly wall. I now have a beautiful, low-maintenance garden plan with many native species of plants that I can approach over the next couple of years. I'm looking forward to taking the first steps this fall and can hardly wait to see how my garden grows. Thanks Paula!
