Aylwin Construction had the best estimate that included plywood on my 1950's house. Installed Safeguard 30 underlayment, reshingle with Certain Teed shingles. They didn't require a down payment, payment was due upon completion. They were quick to respond to questions even at night. They quoted shingles on my garden shed, but didn't do it. When I asked about it they sent a crew out right away to do it. They also honored Angie's list coupon when I questioned them on it. I think maybe the staples they used on the plywood were too long because they stick out a few inches in the attic. It was hard for me to see the different colors of the shingles Online.

It went fine. They were quick and responsive to my requests for changes to the way they handled peaks and valleys in order to match the look I wanted

All went well & on time. The crew resolved a few issues they encountered as they worked on the job, got the needed materials & finished on schedule. Would hire again.

Shed turned out beautifully. My husband had built the shed by hand out of reclaimed fence boards, and had made it look somewhat like a cottage with window boxes for flowers, to match the appearance of of our house. Aylwin honored my husband's memory wonderfully. I would recommend them to anyone.

went well. I forgot to write this review when we had this work done. It has been a couple of years now but the roof is looking great and this company was a pleasure to work with. The bid was competitive. We were happy with everything then and now.

This is the second time Aylwin Construction has come to the rescue when I had a leak in the roof. Unlike other roofing companies who wanted to have me wait 5 days for an estimator to come and then schedule a repair after that, the people at Aylwin were very responsive and got out to the house the same day. The repair couldn't be done that day, but they offered to put up a tarp and put me on the schedule for the next day. This was a great relief! Dante, the crew supervisor, was very professional and pleasant to deal with. He communicated very well with us on what needed to be done and showed pictures to better explain the problem. He also pointed out other repairs of the same issue that would need to be done eventually. The crew was on time and worked quickly to get the complete the work before the rain started again. Bryon in the office who does the scheduling provided a quick quote for the initial repair ($1800) and another for the remaining issues ($5200) which we decided to have repaired right away. For the second set, Bryon got us on the schedule for 2 days the following week while weather was dry. Both repairs were done quickly and professionally. The crew was very respectful of our property and clean up was perfect - nothing left behind. They were careful to move things out of the way overnight so we could access our garage and they stopped to check in at the beginning and end of each day. Aylwin will be my first call if I need work done in the future! Their sense of urgency and friendliness was awesome and they never made me feel like our initial, smaller leak problem was too small. I highly recommend this company as our experience was very positive.

They did an absolutely wonderful job. They arrived when they said they would, did fantastic work and even preprinted our new vents to match our paint so we didn’t have to paint later. They also cleaned up every they were done each day. I couldn’t recommend them more.

After paying/submitting our contract, we may have fallen through the cracks as we didn't hear from them for over two months (granted, it's the rainy season, but an acknowledgement would've been nice!). When I called though, they jumped right on it and got our roof started the following Monday. They were fast, efficient, clean, and very responsive. So far we haven't had any issues with the new roof and it looks great.

Aylwin construction did a complete tear off on my house. They were fast! They did a good job and cleaned up the mess, and was very affordable. I would definitely recommend them.

His team was very professional and did a great job. Did it on time and was very professional. When a problem was identified mistakenly by me, they stood behind their work and went to a great length to satisfy my need and took incredible amount of time and patience to prove to me that I was Incorrect. I was fully satisfied and this is the kind of contractor I am proud to have hired for the job at my new home. I would rate them A++ any day.

Awesome crews. No mess. Found things damaged under the old roof that others had buried. Job done 100% right. You get what you pay for. Hire the best. These guys!

The company replaced gutters and downspouts on my home in late summer. The materials selection process went well and they were helpful in choosing the best options. Installation was adequate but there are some unresolved issues that need attention. Downspouts with cleanout traps were installed (photo 1) and once winter rains arrived I found that some of the downspouts are trimmed with clearance that's too tight, preventing easy removal of debris and causing clogging. Interior corners on the gutters are also unfinished, leaving sharp edges (photo 2) that can cut wrists during cleaning. I contacted the company to have these issues resolved but they have not responded. That's disappointing. I would not use them again unless the problems are fixed properly.

Very well. My only disappointment is that when I needed more work done this year, they were too busy. Probably due to quality service and good reputation!

Got a call 3 days later and they said they would be here in 1 hour. That was great. They came and they actually stayed and checked out another problem area.

They worked quickly and efficiently. This is the second time I have used them for repairs. I am very happy with their work.

It went very well. Work needed to be completed prior to the closing of a real estate transaction. The Eastmoreland house demanded and received attention to detail and craftsmanship.

After calling several roofers, I either got no return call or was told they were too busy. Aylwin called the next day a came out to do an estimate the next day. Their scheduling lead time was reasonable and they came out as promised. I was a home builder for 45 years before I recently retired and moved to this area. I found that they did a professional installation.

No work ever performed. Spoke with them in July and received bid on job, told too busy at the time but expected time in late August to complete work. Received sporadic updates via e-mail that they could not get to my side of town (Boring), and ultimately heard back mid-October that they would not be able to do the work. They offered number of someone who could, but 2 months later and 2 heavy rainfalls without downspouts it was too late. I just did it myself.

Our experience was not what we hoped for. Bid was competitive. Referred by a friend, so we went with them. We were very flexible with schedule changes and other issues that came up but when the work started it was clear they did not have the respect for our home that any reasonable person would want to have. There prep was limited so a lot of our new landscaping was destroyed. They repaired (at their cost) some of the damage but it isn't the same. They were apologetic for the most part and after all the work was done we are still cleaning up after them. Shingles, pieces of wood, nails, metal, even some empty water bottles were left behind. After some billing confusion with gutters they told my wife it was a difficult house to roof. I would be cautious and very clear up front what to expect if you hire this company.

Bradley and his crew were amazing! They tore off 2 layers of old shingles, fixed several areas of dry rot, installed new vents and then the new roof - all done and completed in 2days. I was very impressed with the foreman, Bradley. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and kept his crew on task. The entire crew worked hard. They were friendly and professional. I was also very impressed with the cleanup afterwards. All the guys did a great job and I would highly recommend this company when you need a roof replaced.

They showed up, worked hard, got it done, and it was pretty much what I expected. Nothing was extraordinary and nothing was bad. Pricing was right with all the other estimates I got.

Roof replacement went well and looks great. Aylwin did a very poor job on replacing our Gutter helmet which prevents falling debris from clogging the gutters. At first ,workers planned to throw them away which was a communication break down from management to front line workers. When gutter helmet was re-installed by Alywin, gutters were reinstalled incorrectly leaving a 1" gap allowing pine needles and debris to fall in. If you are having your roof replaced only, Aylwin does a great job. If you have any specialized gutters, I would highly recommend seeking another roofing company. After numerous calls, Aylwin still hasn't taken the initiative to correctly install the gutters. We are considering litigation.

They went well above our expectations for our roof. We had three layers to tear off and a number of old house challenges that went with it. The guys were courteous, quick and the roof looks great. When I noticed a crack in one of our windows after the project, they were quick to send a glass company (A1) out to fix it (they were great also) at no cost to us. We are so happy.
