These folks were great to work with. Clint came by and talked to us about our options and prices and gave us the info we needed to make a decision. The installer was prompt, thorough and professional. A week aftere the install, when we asked for one minor adjustment in spring tension, Clint was there in about an hour to do the work. It would be nice if all companies were that good to work with.

Clint was awesome! I originally scheduled a replacement opener installation. Clint was able to fix the old one and helped me reprogram all of our openers too. It cost me a fraction of a new one and it was great to meet an ethical repair person that just wanted to provide great customer service.

They came out the day I called and replaced both springs in under an hour. Total bill was $220

Ted was our service person and I thought he was professional, friendly and good at what he did. I would ask for him if I needed to do any additional work on the doors.

When I contacted this Company to request a bid/estimate for replacing our garage door, the woman did not at all seem interested in obtaining our business- she said they couldn't get anyone out to the house before next Wednesday (which is understandable), but worst of all, said that they "charge" for giving bids if not selected-- when I offered to email photos of the door as I had w/ other vendor to get ball park range-- she said they don't work that way. Wow, the arrogance. Guess that's what happens when a good local company gets purchased by larger out of state firm and doesn't need to rely up customer service anymore. too bad.

Found them in the phone book in 1993. The repair man worked quickly, quietly no up selling. So I called a second time in 2000 and had the same experience. I would highly recommend. I do not recall the cost yet I would have remembered if the amount was out of line.

They scheduled their visit quickly after our first contact and they performed this job when other vendors said there was no other option but door replacement. Honest, fair and friendly. We are a management company and they will always be our first call for door replacement or repair for our Hillsboro and surrounding locations.

Our opener bracket was detached from the garage door. I got their information from our garage door and called them in the afternoon. They sent Mike over right away and did an excellent job. He also gave me some tips on how to maintain the door.

We have used this company every year for maintenance on our garage door. We had two hinges snap and they were out the same day to fix them. They are really good about accommodating your schedule too. We had been thinking of replacing the door because it is so heavy. Mike replaced and oiled the rollers and tightened all the screws on the door. I also spoke with Jill at the office several times about the replacement of the door and she helped us decide to keep the door and just get a new opener and rollers. The door is very expensive and to save the integrity of the look we are going with that. She has ordered the parts and we will be installing them next week. This company is so customer service oriented and THAT seems to be a rare find anymore. I would definitely recommend ALOHA OVERHEAD DOOR!!! Robin Browno

Our garage door was broken when it came down on a ladder and the tension mechanism failed. It bent the bar the shuttle for the chain runs on, and ripped the metal attaching the door to chain off, and damaged the top panel of the garage door.They came out to provide a quote and provided 3 options. Fix immediately - fixing the bent parts and replacing only what was necessary. Cheapest option but won't be perfect. Replace top panel - more than half the cost of a new door, would fix most of the problems, but not all nor address that the rest of the door is old. Not recommended as a whole new door is probably better value. New door - expensive but only way to fix everything We choose the cheap option, the service technician unbent and reused what he could, and reattached everything actually better than before the accident. Its not perfect or pretty as there is damage visible, but we knew that would be the case and choose that option, and it is working well

The person on the phone was pleasant and professional as well as the service technician. It was quick, painless and reasonable.

I called and he answered right away and was at our home with in an hour. Our garage door opener was stolen out of a car in our driveway so it was essential that this be taken care of immediatly. He tried to help me reprogram the existing garage door opener, but it was old and could not be done in such a way as to ensure safety. He was prompt, understanding and gave us the Angie's list discount. I would recommend these folks to anyone needing garage door service

They were prompt, professional, courteous and knowledgeable. One thing that I did like about them is that they didn’t mark the other company’s products at all. They had a superior door for the same price. Two months after they installed it, I had a problem and they came right out and fixed it the very next day after I called. It was a problem with the installation, so they just stood behind that and didn’t charge me anything for the visit. I felt pleased with that.

They tried to figure out what the problem was. They just had to adjust a few things, and the garage door started to open and close properly. They figured out the problem, which we could not. They were very nice people.

They were prompt and on time. The guy had the whole thing done in about 20 minutes or so. Garage door works great now. This is a reliable outfit to use. The prices are more than fair.

Serviceman (Corey) was punctual, courteous, pleasant and professional. Actual cost was within $4 of estimate. Entire job took 40 minutes. We had him come back three days later to fix a squeak/squeal in door opening (didn't do this when he was here initially) and there was no charge for follow-up. He disassembled the motor, lubed everything and all runs quietly and well now.
