Traner's Plumbing & Heating

When I awoke to find my water tank non-functioning, I calledTraner's. They answered quickly and gave me an approximate time when a plumber would be available. Plumber called before coming to the house and arrived, happily, earlier than I had anticipated. The plumber immediately sussed out possible causes of the malfunction such as a tripped circuit breaker.......then proceeded to test the tank itself and quickly ascertained the cause of the malfunction. I do have some knowledge of the workings of hot water tanks so was able to clearly understand the extent of the problem. I live in an area of unusually hard water and I do not have a water softener so the tank had performed as well as could be expected for 8 years. I know, the tank, in any other area would be usable for 12-14 years. However, I decided to install a totally new replacement tank. AT NO TIME, DID THE PLUMBER EVER SUGGEST THAT TANK REPLACEMENT WAS THE ONLY SOLUTION. He was willing to flush as much sediment as possible from the tank and replace the bottom element..............but I knew that was not really a good solution as the sediment was so deep in the bottom of the tank that it could not be drained from the bottom.........took an air compressor to force flush it from the top.............which is why I elected to do a total tank replacement. The plumber did a professional job and did it quickly, efficiently. The cost was entirely reasonable and I am more than pleased with the service provided by Traner's Plumbing and Heating. I will happily recommend their plumbing service to others. ...

Had an appointment for 0900. Received a phone call a few minutes after 0900 explaining that the plumbing tech had been called out on an emergency job earlier in the morning but had just returned to the office and was now enroute to my house. I appreciated the fact that they had the courtesy to call and not just leave me hanging. The repairman did arrive very soon thereafter. The repairman was courteous, professional, wasted no time getting down to work. He quickly diagnosed the toilet flush problem...........and tho' he could have "sold me a bill of goods", he did not............rather, he very quickly and efficiently explained the problem and solved it...................saving me money as well. The outdoor faucet problem was also resolved very quickly and effectively with only a very very small cost for a needed part. I was very pleased with the attitude and service provided by this company and would definitely use their services in the future.
