My mother was hospitalized on Christmas day. When she got out of the hospital in the first few days of January, we needed to get a ramp added to her house because she was too weak to walk. Even though we had a wheelchair, we weren't sure how we would get her out of the house to take her to doctor appointments. I called several contractors specializing in accessibility construction. Most were going to be weeks before they could get to us. TK Barnard (Tim) was awesome. He rearranged his personal schedule to free up time to build the ramp for us due to the emergency situation. He did an outstanding job. The ramp is just what we needed. It's solid and extremely well made. And as a bonus, it looks so nice that it really added to the look of the house. He even built a few steps to easily step off the back of the ramp to get to the yard faucet. I would confidently use TK Barnard again for any work we need done. He was professional, pleasant and did an outstanding job. He even called back several times to check that we were happy with the work. It's amazing when you are able to do business with someone that really goes above and beyond in their efforts. Thanks Tim!

Tim called to make sure we were home and then arrived 15 minutes later. We needed grab bars for our tile shower. Tim specializes in installing devices for special needs. He provided us with advice on the best location of the grab bars. After we agreed to the heights and placement of the grab bars, he located the studs and measured the sizes he could install. He carries a full line of sizes in his van, so only one visit is required from quote to installation. The bars and installation are at a fixed price ($75 per bar). He says he will not install a grab bar that will not support the full weight of the person using them. He drilled the old ceramic tile without a crack (my greatest fear) and installed the bars at the agreed price. Tim did a very professional job and cleaned up afterward.
