I have decided to go with Muir Painting. They seemed to know what they were doing and were knowledgeable about the stuff I have. He just seemed to know what he was doing.

Muir Painting did an excellent job. From start to finish, we were extremely satisfied in all areas.

He came out to do an estimate and he looked over the house. It was a two story house. Some parts were in bad shape, and he gave me a quote right then. Someone came out to do the prep work. Then a couple guys came out to do the painting and they were really good about cleaning up. They were responsive if I had any concerns and they were done in 1 1/2 days.

Dan Muir and Muir painting are excellent. We've used them for interior and exterior painting. His workers are efficient, respectful and do a great job. We've referred him to all our friends and family members and they get the same wonderful service we get.

We were delighted with Dan and his crew's work on our house. They showed up on a Sunday to pressure wash the house then got started on Monday and were done on Tuesday. They worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. We'd recommend Dan and his team to anyone.

They showed up when they were supposed to. They quoted based on two coats, but only did one. They missed lots of little spots and one big spot behind a plant that grows along the front of the house. We had them come back to paint the big spot they missed and they got half of it. We only noticed the little spots after they had come back once. These guys are the definition of a slap dash job. The price was reasonable, but they did a very poor job with the painting. I would never hire them again.

This is the 2nd time this company has painted my house. Again, they did a great job at a great price (compared to the other bids). My husband and I went to the paint store recommended by Dan to pick out colors. We gave the color codes to Dan over the phone. A crew power washed the house on 1 day and came back 3 days later to do the painting. They finished the job in 1 day, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job.

Very responsive & professional communication. Accomodating on schedule. Work was quick and ok to good. Could have cleaned up a bit more.

They actually managed to work on my house sooner than originally planned and, in incredibly hot weather. Only met with Dan Muir briefly. Very pleasant man to deal with. I was comfortable allowing him and his crew to work when I wasn't home. I feel they did a wonderful job. They protected my deck, patio, lawn furniture and plants from paint, as well as windows, the awning, etc. For as large as my house is (it has two levels) I thought what he charged was very reasonable. The cost of the paint was included. He even left me the left over paint which may come in handy some day.

My experience was excellent. Dan responded quickly to my calls and the work performed, was done in a timely manner.

Even though Dans bid was very competitive, I decided to go with another company for the exterior of my house. When Dan called me a few weeks later to check if I had made a decision, he was sort of rude on the phone when I told him that I was going with a different company, as if I personally offended him. When I told him that I am still interested in him painting the interior of my house, he told me that he was no longer interested in the job and I should go with the company I chose for my exterior.

EXCELLENT WORK, WORKERS STARTED AT 7:00 a.m. AND FINISHED PAINTING BY NOON, I VERY PLEASED.

We had originally planned to use a different painting company, but changed our mind at the last minute, because of our positive interaction with Steve when he came out to bid the job. Unfortunately we should have stuck to our original plan. There was minimal preparation which led to a very poor paint job. We have several spots which were not painted, even after pointing them out to Dan via phone. Additionally, we have several areas that are bubbling up after only 2 weeks. Also, during the painting the crew managed to overload the electrical circuit, cut the phone line, and painted the awning the wrong color, trashed the plants, painted over light fixtures and bulbs (although Dan did have 4 new light bulbs installed), dropped/spilled paint on our hot tub cover which they tried to clean up somewhat with paint thiner making things worse. I could go on, but the bottom line is we won't use this company again and have learned to trust our instincts!

Mr. Muir is very efficient and polite. The crew knows what to do and does it well.

Dan's crew was very professional. They did an excellent job and in record time. This is the third time we have used their services and would highly recommend them.

DAN PROVIDED A QUICK AND COMPETITIVE QUOTE. HE WAS IN REGULAR CONTACT REGARDING SCHEDULING THE WORK. THE CREW WAS ON TIME AND VERY CAREFUL ABOUT MASKING,COVERING PLANTS, ETC. THEY WERE POLITE AND FRIENDLY. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AND CLEANED UP IMMACULATELY.

IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE. THEY HAVE A HIGH QUALITY OF WORK. THE PAINTING IS STILL ON THE WALL. THEY DID GOOD WORK, IT'S A GOOD FOUNDATION. THEY DID A GOOD JOB CLEANING AND WITH THE APPLICATION OF THE PAINT. THEY HAVE A GOOD PRICE AND THEY COULD DO IT IN A SHORT TIME.

THEY WERE VERY PLEASANT AND VERY NICE. I THOUGHT THEY COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB TAPING SOME OF MY DOOR FRAMES AND THAT SORT OF THING. THEY WERE FINE. THEY JUST WEREN'T EXCEPTIONAL. I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL IT WAS A RAINY DAY, BECAUSE IT WAS INSIDE AND THEY HAVE LARGER CONTRACTS FOR OUTDOOR PAINTING. I HAD TO WAIT AND NOT KNOW UNTIL THE DAY BEFORE AND THAT WAS DIFFICULT.
