Dan gave us an estimate which we wnet with...They were very responsive once we settled on the paint color. They had the house pressure washed and almost painted with in one week. Dan and his crew where professional and through...I I would recoomend them to my neighbors. Great Job!!!!

Everything went very smoothly from start to finish. Dan came right out to the house to give a bid. After we decided on paint color, he was able to get the house painted within a week. The crew came right on time. They all worked very hard, prepping and painting. All seemed to care about their work. They cleaned up very well after the work was done. I feel like I have a new house! I would highly recommend this company. When I need more painting done, I will definitely call Muir Painting.

My end to end experience with Muir Painting was great. I received an estimate with a few days of inquiring, and once I signed the contract, the house was pressure washed and painted within days! They arrived at 7:30am, and by 3:30pm the entire house and garage had been painted (only pressure washing took place prior). They already had the paint to match the existing color scheme, so I didn't have to take care of this. I was home all day, and the crew was pleasant and professional. Dan Muir, the owner, swung by the house at the end of the day to ensure I was pleased with the job. Muir Painting exceeded my expectations! Thank you for making this so easy!

From start to finish, the painting of our older home went very well. We recommend Muir Painting.

It was wonderful. There were nine people and they just attacked the house. They were extremely professional. It was like a team. It was very impressive. They were more than great, and they exceeded my expectations. Sometimes when you hire somebody, it's a one-man show. He comes out and he tries it all himself, and you are expecting a crew and it's not a crew. It's one guy but when they came out, they were like a team and it was just amazing. It was phenomenal and they got every paint that fell on the ground. I took several bids but they were a little lower. He called me a week later after the painting was done to ask me if everything was okay and if I was pleased with their work.

Muir first power washed the house, taped plastic over the windows, painted two coats and trim. They did an excellent job of cleaning up and checking in to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

They were punctual, worked hard all day, cleaned up after themselves and did a good job. They normally wouldn't take a smaller job like ours, but decided to pick up a little extra work so went ahead and gave us a good deal on our small project. Only thing that was a little disappointing was they spilled a gallon of paint and instead of replacing it or deducting the price of the paint from the over all bill, I went to the store and replaced it myself. Since I felt they were being gracious to do the job over a weekend and for $800, I decided not to make a big deal about it. Overall, we are happy with the way the job turned out.

Landon and his 2 man crew did a great job. They showed up when they committed to, and worked the entire day, to complete the work. They were careful in their work, masking and taping where needed. The quality of the work was good to exellent. They completely cleaned up and left the place clean and tidy. I was impressed at the quality and professionalism of such a "youthful" crew. I also appreciated the playful banter they displayed amongst each other; incenting each other to get the work done.

They were prompt in contacting us to do an estimate. The company was doing an interior paint job at our neighbor so one of the workers came to our home and provided an estimate. We had some trouble agreeing on a time so the compromise was to have one of the company employees contact me to schedule a convenient time to do the job. Since the project was small we agreed that it may be best to just have one of the employees do the job independently. I never got a call back.

Overall the service was excellent and very professional.

Paint crew was very professional (ontime, polite, finished the job in one day) I was extremely pleased with results.

The job was just dont yesterday and with paint you wont really know how things are until year 1-5, but I will give a review now and update later: I was waiting for another company to paint my house after being misled on when that would be done after a siding job. I called multiple painters with no luck, but soon got a call back from Dan. Easy guy to work with and we were able to work something out on short notice + I was able to get out of my contract with the other siding company. Dan's guys came out and were friendly and did a great job...Ben really showed that he cared (especially when re-doing our door....great job by the way). I would definitely hire these guys again. The only concern I have is that due to the last minute nature of my paint request during winter is that there was no time for a power wash of the house (had to jump on the day of sunshine and 2 days of no rain), which Dan said shouldnt be an issue once I explained the condition of the house (new siding on upper, older on lower). His team did a hand clean, but we'll see over the next couple years if that was enough to clean off any dirt, previous paint flakes, etc. that will prevent proper adhering of the paint. Dan did offer a 2 year warranty for the paint job, even with the fact that we had no time to prepare like we normally would, which was highly appreciated. The house looks great!

Dan Muir came by and gave an estimate. It was competitive and fair. He called the evening before my home was pressured washed to let me know they would be by. He also called to let me know when they would come over to paint. They were prompt and quick. The home was completely painted in one day. My home is two stories about 1900 square feet. They did an excellent job and I'm happy with the results. I would use them again.

One of the best experiences ever with a contractor. Dan and his crew did a fantastic job, from the initial estimate to final clean up. Dan had a large crew working and had the 2460 sq. ft. house done in one day. They started at 7:15 Thursday morning and finished around 4:00 in the afternoon. Will definitely use Muir Painting again and will recommend them to others.

I contacted Muir Painting after I saw a sign for his services off HIghway 205 near West Linn. He (Dan, the owner) responded immediately a by coming to my house, and I had a quote within 24 hours. His quote was competitive with others I had gotten, and he answered all my questions clearly and patiently. His crew showed up on time and was consistently polite and friendly--they even offered to help me carry in my groceries! Their clean-up was impeccable. There were a few small missed spots--the owner (Dan) himself came the next day to fix them. I will hire him again to paint our second home.

Dan was punctual in arriving to give an estimate, allowed me to choose paint brand (and gave recommendations) and his crew arrived on-time. Now, 1.5 years later, I feel I can give a better review of the work than an immediate "after" would. Dan himself was on vacation when our house was painted. I was quoted for 2 coats of paint (spray and backroll). As we were gone most of the day, can't vouch that it didn't or did occur, but know for certain the deck didn't get 2 coats. His son arrived late the next day to finish the deck (large portion) and was done in 20 minutes with a roller/brush - so no way that got 2 coats. Called them to come back later to fix some peeling paint (had pointed out before area was peeling so they could prep it properly) and some bubbles. They fixed the peeling paint, but couldn't "see" the bubbles. Just today, I did a walk around to check work on new downspouts I had installed. There are bubbles all throughout the S and W side eaves and the deck still has bubbles. edit to clarify: there were no bubbles *before* the painting was done. Only after. Only minor peeling existed before the job was performed.

Our home is a 60 year old one story ranch that was in need of painting. The Muir Paint crew showed up on time, cleaned up after they left, and did a great job.

Muir painting pressure washed the outside of our house very carefully! Thanks Dan!! The exterior of the hose was painted as well as our wood windows and doors. They did a great job and the crew was very professional and polite. Very important because the job was huge and they were here for 2 weeks. The other painters I contacted told me it would take a month to do the job. Dan and his guys did it in half the time and for a way better price. I will definaley call on Muir Painting the next time my house needs painting!

I went with Muir Painting after getting five estimates because of the price and the favorable and recent reviews on Angie's List. Not only was my home being done but also my daughter's home. Dan Muir was very pleasant to work with and I must add patient as well. His crew arrived promptly at 7:20 am and began working as promised at 7:30 am. I have never seen a crew of six work so hard and efficiently. By 5pm that same day both the house and the garage were painted including the trim. They cleaned up very well. I was amazed. So was my daughter with her house that was painted the same day. It looks like we got new siding. In fact, the south end of the house was so bad we thought we needed new siding. Muir Painting saved us that expense. The next day one painter came to put on a 2nd coat of white trim paint and to do the walk around. The same procedure was done for my daughter's home ( I'll let her do her own review when she has time). Our house looks terrific and I am very pleased.

I was hoping to see Dan in action after reading the great reviews people wrote about him. Since my house was during peak season, he had multiple projects going concurrently and he sent his son and a crew of 6 to tackle my home. I was VERY pleased and excited to see such quality and care taken with my home by this young crew. Dan taught them well and they did a fabulous job that neighbors and those passing by stop and ask, take notice! Dan's estimate was lower then the effort taken to complete my work but they stuck to the bid and took the necessary steps to complete my project perfectly. I chose unique bright colors that i LOVE and they worked in the 100 degree temps; but did it safely and effective. wonderful overall experience. Use this company.

Dan Muir is nothing short of amazing. He and his team did a thorough job preparing surfaces and painting. I chose a dark gray body with white trim and he and his son recommended I accent the doors with black and we couldn't be happier. In addition, I went with a solid stain for my deck using the house body color for the floor and the white for the railing. When the deck surface required more paint for a more complete cover (colors had high contrast which made them less forgiving) Dan insisted we didn't pay for the extra stain and he came out and put it on after a long day painting another house. He was able to complete our home in 2 days, start to finish. He has a solid work ethic, a great team, and efficient systems so there was no wasted time. I highly recommend Dan Muir.

Dan did a great job starting from the bid all the way through completion of the project. Dan gave me a fair bid and followed up a few days later to see if I had any questions. Once we decided to go with him it was a quick process. A few days before painting he sent a guy out to pressure wash our home. We picked out our colors a few days before the project and e-mailed the paint names to Dan. The crew showed up at 7:30am and were done by 4:30pm! Dan's crew scraped and cleaned and he followed them up with the paint. They seemed to pay good attention to detail and left the place nice and clean too. We were pleasantly surprised with the speed and accuracy of their work. We have a big three story five bedroom home so we were not expecting it to all be done in one day. I would highly recommend Muir Painting and would definitely use them again in the future!
