Everything went great! This company was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. From the reasonably competitive bid, to the education about proper roof ventilation and steps to improve the longevity of the new roof, to the roof installation, everything went very well. The roofers did a quality job, kept me informed of their progress, followed proper safety measures and left the site immaculate at the end. I would recommend this company to anyone needing roofwork.

KLAM Construction delivers! First off they are very easy to work with. Abel, the president of the company, came out and personally did the initial bid. Abel carefully explained what was needed and the materials that would be used. He did not want to cut any corners which I really appreciated. Abel also returned for final inspection. Katie was great to work with on scheduling and prompt on communication which was helpful on a stressful project like this. My home required a complete re-roof and the work was difficult but the KLAM crew was prompt, worked very hard, and performed quality work. They even finished sooner than I thought they would. Another plus is they do a very thorough cleaning of your property once they are done. If you have a roofing project, give KLAM a call!

Klam was a delight to work with at every step of the way. We appreciated the friendly, professional, and timely manner in which they responded to any and all questions. We also appreciated Able's personable manner, the time he took to explain the process with pictures and drawings, and how he took time out of his day to drop off/pick up shingle samples. From the initial walkthrough to the final, we felt confident that we knew what to expect and that the services provided were the appropriate ones for our roof. The people that actually replaced the roof were thorough, quick, and kind. They were very accommodating to our need to come and go. The roof is beautiful and we are so pleased with the workmanship and the products they used.

We needed a new full roof replacement to replace our 30 year old one. We also had our skylights replaced at the same time. We highly recommend Klam Construction! They arrived on time, worked hard, cleaned up afterwards, and the crew was 5 stars. We hired Klam as Abel is honest and conscientious. They did an excellent job and our new roof looks amazing!

KLAM Construction replaced our roof in April of 2024. They exceeded expectations in all areas. Starting with the free estimate, they were very up front about what would be needed to do the job right and discussed areas that might require additional work/expense depending on what was found under the existing shingles. And their up front rates for extra work are reasonable. After the job was complete, there were no surprises in the final price (it ended up being the quoted price for us). Due to trim and flashing they added (items the original builder should have installed), our roof is now better than when the house was first built. We have a large roof, and the demo and replacement took 2-1/2 days. The workers went out of their way to protect our paver driveway, and their final cleanup was exceptional (the area where they staged the material was cleaner than when they first arrived). I selected KLAM because our neighbor had their roof replaced by KLAM a couple of years ago. Our neighbor doesn't like working with contractors, but appreciated the experience with KLAM. I also don’t enjoy the process of finding general contractors, but working with KLAM Construction was stress-free. I just wish KLAM did painting and other miscellaneous home repairs. They'd be my go-to contractor every time.

Our experience with Klam Construction was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From the initial reach out for a quote to replace our roof until project completion the customer service and response time were fast and very helpful. The inspection for the bid was very thorough and did not feel pushy, It was informative and felt very honest; as well as very fair priced from the other quotes we received. The crew who showed up to do the project were very kind and respectful of us and our need to come and go. They cleaned up well each day and I have yet to find even a single nail left behind. Their quote to final price did not change, which I hear is common in the industry. Overall we were very pleased with how everything went from start to finish. I would wholly recommend them to anyone looking. They are truly the best company I have ever worked with for anything in my home.

It went great! Abel is experienced and knows what he's talking about. Thoroughly examined our roof (exterior and attic), explained what would be required to replace it, including full description of materials. David, the crew lead did an excellent job, answering our questions and really going above and beyond on our project - we appreciated it! Crew worked very long hours and cleaned up discarded materials really well. Katie at the office is experienced and very helpful. The new roof looks great and I know if we have any issues when the rainy season begins Abel will not hesitate to address them. I would absolutely recommend Klam to others.

From beginning to end it went so smoothly, From Katie, (she is so kind and answered all of my novice questions) in the office, to Abel explaining everything that would be done, to Manual the installer working with such pride, as if it were his own home, Everything was spotless daily, when the job was done my yard was cleaner that it was when they started! Nothing but good things to say about Klam Construction. From Katie at office support, Abel, company head, Jose and crew, I was very pleased. When initially making my decision, Abel spent a lot of time explaining my options. Once the decision was made and the date confirmed, I was notified by Katie what to expect. The crew was fantastic. Very hard workers from sunup to sundown. Cleanup was impecable. Once the roof was completed, Abel returned to make sure I was satisfied and that he was satisfied with the job. His roof inspection turned up a minor concern which was promptly addressed and remedied by his crew. It was very obvious to me this is a well run company with great product and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Superb! This has to be the best roofing company in Oregon! Originally I thought the installation would take at least 3 days with a couple of workers. The weather took a slight change with heavy rains predicted for a couple of days so the owner of KLAM Construction Company sent more crew and began a day ahead of schedule to accommodate getting the job done on time and without problems with any upcoming rain. The whole process was incredible to watch. Once the materials were loaded onto the roof by hand because the delivery truck could not back-up my steep driveway, everything went like clockwork and the installers worked together very well, interacting with one another in a very happy manner. The first day 6 crew members worked steadily for 12 hours and were able to get most of the difficult work completed. The second day 4 installers returned at 7:00 AM and finished installing all the shingles by noon! So the roof from start to finish took one and a half days. They cleaned the premises of any debris very carefully, including picking up any metal nails in the yard. It was all a seamless operation and I would highly recommend KLAM Construction Company for any roofing job! Today the owner/President of the company came to my house and went up onto my roof to inspect the installation and ask if I was satisfied. He gave me some tips on how to care for my new roof. Abel Serrano is truly dedicated in providing excellent customer service with quality work.

Klam replaced the roof on our mid-century ranch house, garage and shed. We highly recommend Klam!! We had bids from nine companies. On the first meeting with Abel, he was very thorough, full of advice, and the bid was reasonable. Klam has a great reputation, so our job had to be scheduled a few months out. However, they sent someone to inspect the roof for potential leaks and repair them to last through the weather until the job was scheduled. We enjoyed working with Abel, Katie, and the entire crew. They were very fast, protected the plants well, respectful of the property and neighborhood, and were in and out in two and a half days.

I was very impressed with the work of Klam. They cleaned up everyday, protected my garden and the roof is perfect.

Abel Serrano is a true professional. He knows that designing a complete roofing system is critical to long-term performance. He also hires and supports his work crews to provide a level of service that is impressive. The foreman, Jairo, is also a top-notch professional. Abel (owner) provided a thorough and competitive estimate. I could tell during our walk around the roof that he cared about our project and making sure that Klam Construction provided top level work. Our home is a 3800 sq foot 2-story and needed to have all the roofing replaced. Their schedule was busy but they got our project started earlier than expected. The crew arrived on time each day during the project. By the end of the first day they had already completed the tear off and had put down the protection layer and some of the shingles. I walked the roof each evening after the crew left and observed the quality of the work. Each morning I walked again with the crew chief (Manuel), during which he answered any questions I had. They finished my roof about a day earlier than expected. There was some amount of plywood and support work required but it was all done within the original estimate. I'm extremely happy with the work performed and the quality of service. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to anyone considering a roofing project.

I cant even imagine my experience going any better than it did. Abel was an extremely good teacher, helping us understand what we may need and WHY. Then, his bid was the lowest we received. Manuel and his team were fast, efficient, and excellent! Clean! Awesome! I would work with Klam Construction again in a heartbeat and will tell everyone I know!

From all that I have seen, Klan Construction and Mr. Abel Serrano did an outstanding job explaining what was done at every step of the process to replace my roof and leaky skylight. Abel recommended that I replace my existing roof shingles with TruDefinition Duration shingles with a lifetime warranty and 25-year workmanship warranty for all the roofing they replaced including the shingles, skylight, roof jack, vents, baffles, plywood, etc. Abel thoroughly inspected all the work his roofers performed. Also, Abel took responsibility when one of his folks damaged a branch on a tree in our yard when the driver was removing the dumpster containing all the old roofing materials. He had the damaged branch cut and the tree contractor did an excellent job. In addition, when Abel and I were doing the final inspection together after all the work was completed, he found a problem around the chimney that he had one of his workers correct. Then when I told Abel about part of the glass on a bay window being cracked (probably from vibrations while the roof was being installed) he cancelled the $700 payment for additional plywood and other boards that were installed to repair dry-rot under the old shingles. I highly, highly recommend Mr. Abel Serrano and Klam Construction for your re-roofing project!!! They do an outstanding job and, from everything I have seen, are very honest. Thanks a lot Abel and Klam Construction.

Abel and crew were fantastic and completed the entire 32 square roof in 2 1/2 days! When they left, there wasnt a piece of scrap left behind, like they werent even there!

We are very pleased with all their work. The roofs look perfect and the whole work experience was excellent. The crew is efficient and polite and they cleaned up after they finished. We have had five roofs replaced before, but Klam is the best company, we highly recommend them.

They did the roof replacement work professionally and I am very happy with their service. For the 6 bidding, Klam is the only one providing us with the colorful detailed working scope blue print plus detailed list of all materials and services provided. Abel is the boss/owner, Manuel is a professional foreman on site to take care of the quality and perfection. Katie is the office coordinator who is responsive and very thoughtful. They are the good team to work with. BTW each end of the day, the site team clean up everything and cover unfinished roof with tarps to prevent rain. They are definitely worth the Angies list supper service award from 2016 till last year, and we are strongly recommend their services in our neighborhood.

Fantastic! Abel did a thorough investigation before bidding, checking attic and roof ventilation. Gave two bids, opted for higher to replace some moldy sheeting noticed in the attic and adding more ventilation. crew showed up on time, protected windows and shrubs, worked carefully and cleaned up thoroughly each night. Job looks great, very satisfied, highly recommended!
