Gresham Roofing and Construction

The contracter came out to review the job right on time. Took about 20 minutes to do the estimate. also did a temp patch on the spot on the roof. he stating the price and time the it would be done. It was a 10' x 10' area. The conatracter could not repair the roof on the day first stated due to rain. he came out the next day and did the work. The repair work was done, it look good, no mess on the ground around the area. Getting the bill was a little odd, it took several days to get it.

Gresham Roofing was quick and timely to get us a reasonable estimate. But once the contract was signed and 1/3 deposit made the experience was less than what we expected. It was 5 weeks from the time the deposit was made until the "two day" job was started. We experienced heavy rainfall and understand that could delay the job. However we were never given start date updates and all communication was initiated by us and we were told each week that they were "finishing up a job in front of us". The two day job turned into a 3 day job. Once the job was started our initial contact was out of town and we worked with another individual; unfortunately there was a lack in communication between them, and the gutters were not scheduled to be installed and at the end of the 2nd day, when the roofing job was not near completion, I brought to their attention that there were no sign of the gutters. I was told that they would have a crew out the next morning, Saturday, to finish the roof and install the gutters. The had a crew at my home the next morning and the job was finally completed after a third full day of work. As a result of the actual start date delayed and the extra day to finish the roof and install gutters resulted in our having to reschedule an entire house painting. The quality of the finished product is acceptable the crew was professional and cleaned up well after the job. The most disappointing part of this experience was the poor communication by Gresham Roofing.

They did an excellent job. They were here on time, cleaned up so well I haven't even found a staple or nail! They took the old gutters off and hauled them away. The representative we dealt with was Lester Fox. He was very concerned with the job from start to finish, was always making sure we were happy day to day with the work. We have 3 different roof lines and they made sure everything matches across the entire home. I would recommend them to anyone.

After a couple of calls to get an estimate, we finally had someone call for an appointment to look at our roof. The guy that came out said they'd let the person go who was supposed to call to give us an estimate. I felt they weren't really interested in roof cleaning. Their estimate was very high. We went with another company. I was disappointed by their lack of follow-through. When the time comes to replace our roof, we certainly won't be calling them. We also called them last fall and no one ever returned our call to set up an appointment. They need to be more organized and more interested in customer service.

The experience was fabulous. They did really good work. It was extremely good. I liked that it has a lifetime warranty so I will never have to do it again. They were professional and nice which was what I expected but their work was stellar.

I initially called Gresham Roofing to set up a date for someone to come out and do an estimate on my roof and some interior remodeling. The estimator came out and I walked him through what I wanted done. For most of the walk through, it was hard to get across just what I wanted because he seemed to be in too much of a hurry. He told me that he would have the person that would do the inside remodel contact me to set up an estimate time. I didn't hear from him again for a week and called Gresham Roofing. I was told that he would contact the estimator and have the estimate for the roof sent to me. I did receive the estimate and was told that I would be contacted the same day or the next from the person who'd do the inside estimate. It's been 5 days and not a word from anyone. Even if I was contacted to have an estimate done for the inside part, I wouldn't use Gresham Roofing for anything.

It was a good experience. They were very good. They told me what they were going to do beforehand and gave me the estimate. The cost came within the estimate. They were here when they said they would be here. They were friendly and professional. They did the work at a good speed. They did a good job.

Work was done as part of repair addendum for real estate purchase; work was done on time with good quality

We had a roof leak that only showed intermittently. Lester and his team were terrific. He set reasonable expectations and kept us informed of progress throughout. One of the things I liked about Lester is he didn't assume to know what the exact issue was. We originally talked with another company and they didn't even want to come out and take a look at the damage before saying "yup, here's what is happening". Well they would have been wrong and potentially cost more than what we ended up paying Gresham Roofing. Great Stuff Gresham Roofing. We will be doing business in the future.

They were fine. They were just more expensive than the person that we used. They were higher than what we ended up paying.

Amazing detail given to the total project. Did many extras for little additional charge; removed shrubs, tore off old sheet rock. The new roof, garage door, siding was expertly installed and I was kept abreast of things as the total project evolved. The company worked aroung a really raining period so that we didn't get addition damage to the already compromised dry rot. We couldn't be happier with the work Gresham Roofing did for us.

The guys were quick, efficient, and professional. I appreciated the fast service, as my bathroom ceiling was getting soggier by the minute.

We were in the process of selling our home and found through the inspection that the roof that another company had put on just 7 years ago, was failing due to faulty installation. Jim and his team at Gresham Roofing spent several hours inspecting the roof and creating a thorough report, complete with photos, of the faulty roof (without asking for any compensation), so that we could take the other company to court. I hired Gresham Roofing to replace the roof with a composition roof. Although it took a couple more days to install the new roof because I asked them to video, photograph, and save pieces of the old roof for my lawsuit, they never complained and did not charge me for the additional time. They did everything that I asked, showed up on time, and the entire crew was extremely professional. I have already recommended them to two of my neighbors and would hire them again for my next house.

They were very professional. They showed up right on time. The man in charge is named Jamie. He answered all of my questions and I have referred him elsewhere.

We are preparing to sell our home, and I knew we needed to re-roof the house. I wanted to get as low of a price as I could, but still get as much quality as possible. I got four estimates for replacing my roof, but Gresham Roofing was $1500 - 2500 less than the other companies I tried, so we went with them. The entire process, from the estimate through completion/cleanup went perfectly. They let me know in advance what was going to happen and they were on time every time. They delayed one day due to rain, but showed up bright and early the next morning and worked until it was almost dark. The end result was a beautiful, economical roof that took two days to replace in weather conditions that were not ideal. The supervisors stopped by daily to see if we had any concerns, which we did not. The cleanup was great and we couldn't be happier with the roof.

I would not recommend Gresham Roofing. In October 2011, they installed the wrong shingles on my roof. I ordered the "premium" shingles. They installed the regular shingles (in correct color). They said this was because of a "computer glitch": when they ordered the shingles from their supplier, the word "premium" was omitted. Also, the guy who would have checked them, was out sick the day the job began. They apologized and gave me an extra $300.00 off the price, besides the Angies List coupon. But, I am still stuck with a roof I didn't want for 20+ years. Edit 6/8/15: I disagree with the company's response to my review. I was the one that noticed that the incorrect tiles were being installed. When I presented this to the company, they offered me the small discount, but seemed largely unconcerned with my complaint. Overall, I believe that their initial response to my review is simply not correct.

Sam arrived on time and checked out the roof. He showed me pictures on his digital camera and explained where the leak was likely to be - around the flashing on the chimney. He gave me an estimate, I approved it and he headed out to get some replacement shingles. It took him about two hours to get the parts and repair the roof. When done, he showed me pictures on his digital camera of the leak spot and how he had done the repair. He was very professional, friendly and informative. When paying the bill I gave him a 10% off Angie's List coupon. He'd never seen it before and thought it might apply to larger jobs. He called the office, they confirmed that the website coupon didn't have the correct information on it, but they honored the coupon anyway. All in all, a very good experience.

They did exactly what they said they were going to do. I was very happy with them. I spent $6000 on their services. They did really well. I will definitely use their services again in the future if I needed to.

I did not follow up with the company to ask any questions about the bid, nor did they try and follow up with me. I chose someone else.

)My esperience with Gresham Roofing was A+ in all catagories. I had 3 estimates and they were all about the same. The other two companies came out and checked out my roof and then emailed me an estimate. Sean from Gresham Roofing checked out my roof and then he walked me around and pointed out the problems to me and explained to me how best to fix them. This was very helpful to me as I don't know anything about construction. They were also able to schedule the job fairly soon and before the bad weather. The work crew that worked on my roof were very nice and hard working and they cleaned up my place everyday after they finished their work. They were an excellent crew! The job took 4 days (we had some bad weather one day) I would like to thank all the guys who worked on my roof. It looks fantastic!!!

They were very easy to work with. They were good at communications and scheduling. We could not be more pleased with the job that they did and would definitely use them again. The price was competitive and a good value.

The job went great from start to finish - they showed up every day on time and finished fast knowing that rain was coming.

The crews working the job were all professional. Clean up after each day. Very responsive if any problem were report. No major problems were reported. Due to the size of the project and other project the company was working on, number of crews varied from day to day depending on the weather. Normally at least three crews each day. After the project was finished, they did a quality inspection on all the roofs. Any problems found were fixed by the crew that worked that roof. Gresham roofing will be doing spot quality inspection for the next 3 months.

Excellent crew, showed up on time, worked extremely hard (over 10 hours) first day getting everything prepped and secured (in the event of possible rain). Whole job took 2 and 1/2 days. Crew was professional, courteous, hard-working. Their skilled carpenter did a thorough and excellent job with repairs that needed to be done. Roof looks beautiful, absolute pleasure to work with this company. Mr. Cannucci (supervisor) came by after the job was done to inspect and discuss our feedback. Excellent customer service.

They had a large crew that finished this in one day. Was a long loud day, but crew was hard working and clean up the area better than anyone I had previously hired years ago. There was minor damage to a panel of siding which was looked at that evening and I scheduled replacement from the siding company and received reimbursement for this repair. Overall, they did a great job
