Gresham Roofing and Construction

Description of Work: We chose to have our roof replaced to head off any problems that could arise from having an older roof. We also chose to have the old roof removed. Gresham Roofing provided the cheapest bid for the job, and while we didn't necessarily pick them because of that, we still feel they were the best choice. Their estimator was the only one who didn't frown about the construction of our roof joists, and explained some of the things we had noticed on our own. Work started about two days after our original promised date, but they kept in touch with us. The work site was not perfectly cleared after they were done (I found a roofing nail in my driveway, and a few roofing shingles in my flower beds), but the new roof looks great and has survived the train we've had this far. We feel they provided a good value, and would likely work with them in the future.

Description of Work: Examined the roof and prescribed minor fixes to minor problems

Description of Work: I responded to an e-mail from Angies List about a $99.00 roofing special. I paid for the roof special and waited to be contacted. I gave them the best times of the week that would work for me and waited to hear back from them to set up an appointment. I got an initial response to acknowledge my order, but waited a long time for them to call me with an exact date to do the service. I got tired of waiting for them to call me(I needed this repair done right away as my new homeowner's insurance was waiting to underwrite the policy). I tried calling 3 different phone numbers that were listed in the local phone book for that business, and each time it answered with a different business name. I was not able to connect with Gresham Roofing and construction. I was so frustrated that I contacted Angies List and cancelled the service that I had paid for. Because of the delays, our homeowners insurance was cancelled. We had to do the repairs ourselves, and wait to get our insurance reinstated. To say the least, I'm not impressed with greshem roofing. Description of Work: 2 roof inspections & minor repairs.

Description of Work: Gresham Roofing came out and removed my old roof and replaced it with a new one. They installed new roof vents where needed. The crew was very cordial and kept on task. The completed the job in 2 1/2 days. Pretty good for a 3 man crew. Clean up was great. They cleaned up at the end of every day so there was never a mess. I think I found a couple of staples in the flower beds and when I went to prune 2 shrubs, I found some small pieces of roofing in the shrubs that couldn't be seen |Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would use this company again.

Description of Work: Inspection and minor maintenance to roof. Included caulking around vents and exposed nails

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for a roof inspection. Chuck seemed very knowledgeable and performed the inspection providing pictures of problem areas on the ridge-line of the roof. |We have will have him do the repair, as well as a roof cleaning (by hand rather than water spray). He also gave us a bid for redoing a flat garage roof using a thick impenetrable rubber covering. This was a new idea for me that makes sense and seems affordable. |I feel satisfied and confident with the work done so far.

Description of Work: After sending 2 emails (on 12/10 & 12/21/10) requesting a bid to re-roof on of our rentals homes, we finally received a bid on 12/27/10. It was significantly higher than the others.
