They were wonderful. They came on time and they were thorough. They gave us a very detailed report. They were very professional. The guy knew what he was doing. He took a long time to do the inspection. He was there about 4 hours. His price was competitive with other inspectors.

Dale showed up promptly (even a little early which I loved) and spent 3 hours looking over the house and garage. After he was done, he went over his findings with my husband (I had to leave). He emailed a well-prepared report with pictures that evening.

Pleasant person to work with. My house was rated at 200amps by the inspector. However, after circuits were overloaded a couple of times I had two electricians come out. Although the box is rated 200 amps, the conduit size that was used means the max I can get is 150 amp service, insufficient for the house size. The upgrade will be around 5-10k. The electricians did say that the average inspector often will not be aware of how to look for that, so I cannot fault the inspector. On the other hand, it's good for a home buyer to realize this pitfall. The inspector did a good and competent job. To get an "A" however means to exceed my expectations, unfortunately that did not occur here.

Our inspector spent ~3 hours looking over our 2600 sq ft home, inside and out. He took pictures and wrote up a full report. He was happy to answer questions, and open to us following him around to learn about what he was finding. He also stayed at the end to answer all of our questions before he left.

They were able to set up the appointment immediately when I called. Dale came out and did a thorough inspection. I used them because they were close by and have done a lot of homes in my area. They know the common problems and how serious they might be. Excellent experience overall.

The inspector was friendly and knowledgeable and did not treat me like a dumb girl when he saw me making repairs on my house in less than ideal ways. He gave me information not only about what was wrong with the house but also on how two fix the issues most expeditiously. He found issues with my house that my original home inspector apparently overlooked - outlets that are covered improperly, etc. He also told me my roof is not a tear-off roof, as my original inspector had claimed. I have been in this house ten years with many contractors in and out, and not one of them has ever told me the roof was not a tear-off! Good, thorough inspection that was explained well.

They were on time. They were professional and friendly. They did their job and they spent a lot of time at our home. They let me walk around. They explained things to me well and so I was satisfied.

They always arrive early to inspect the outside of the home. They also go the 'extra mile' on every inspection. Jeff once found a hole in the wall covered up by a painting by looking under it. (he noticed it was sticking out from the wall and was curious). I would use either of these two men to inspect my own home. Although they work for the buyer, they are great with realtors - professional, informative and actually fun guys to work with. They are fabulous!

Dale was fantastic. He showed up an hour early and did the inspection on the outside of the house. He was extremely thorough and professional. The price was cheaper than a lot of other companies I contacted, but the quality was top-notch.

Inspector showed up BEFORE his appointment, went to work right away. He worked diligently for over 3 1/2 hours, then spent the rest of the time documenting in his computer based report which I received LESS than4 hours AFTER the inspection. He showed me areas he was documenting, and pointed out the major concerns he had. He took a lot of photographs and attached them to the report to illustrate the conditions (a picture is worth 1000 words). Left with good information on maintenance of the home, a handy guide to keep on hand.

They were very very good. I would definitely recommend them. They did a full inspection and were very good at explaining everything to me and did answer any questions or concerns that I had.

I had Apex inspect two homes. In the first home, Dale found MANY problems... Even though he ran into big things he still did a very thorough job and documented the smaller detail issues as well. I am very pleased that I didn't end up with a lemon and owe it to Dale! I just had another home inspected by Steve yesterday and he did just as thorough a job. He took the time to explain his report, provided clear documentation and walked me around to see the issues he'd documented. He was very detailed and I would definitely have him inspect a home again for me.

They are excellent. I have used them for 12 years. They also do handyman repairs. I have referred him to many people and they have been happy with the service also. They have a great staff that is timely and efficient. They are also flexible with people's schedules.

Steve Ratcliffe's reports are very thorough and they do give a discount in case you don't go through with the first house. I thought he did a really good job.

The inspection went very smoothly. Steve was very friendly from the start. He arrived early and began his inspection of the exterior of the house. Once he finished inspecting the entire exterior he moved inside. The current owner was home and was very interested in Steve's evaluation when he did not agree with the report. Steve handled him in a very professional manner. He inspected the entire house top to bottom, and front to back. He found a leak in the bathroom sink that the current owner did not know about and some air ducts that had fallen in the crawl space. We received the inspection report right there at the property and Steve went through the whole report with us. He answered all my questions no matter how simple they were. He also gave us his contact information in case we had other questions.

Ross was early and already on the roof of the house by the time of our appointment to do the inspection. He was professional and thorough. After the inspection he clearly explained all the issues he had found with the home. The whole process took about 2.5 hours. We also had him return and verify the repairs that we asked the sellers to make prior to closing. That was an additional $50.

I was very satisfied with what he did for me. He gave us some suggestions to keep our crawl space dry. He also suggested to make a French trench along the side of the house to divert water away from the foundation. Jeff crawled into the crawl space, while the other inspector we had did not crawl through.

We started right on time. The inspector did everything very methodically and answered any question we had. Considering that home inspection did not cover a lot of thing we were interested in the inspector went far and beyond the scope addressing our concerns. It just so happened he inspected the house the seller was buying (we were the buyers). After the inspection was over promptly 3 hours later there were still some unanswered questions (like inability to access the attic), so the inspector actually called the seller next day to ask him those questions we had and called us to give us answers (we did not ask to call the seller). We will definitely hire the company again.
