I called to check on prices for no-contract Internet service and was given a price of $29.99/month. The router arrived as scheduled and was easy to install after one well-handled session of trouble-shooting. I tried set up online bill-pay but found out that it was impossible as verified with a rep who had to set it up for me. This is not a case of my ineptitude but their system. It took two calls over a period of days as well as a delayed-response attempt to resolve the issue via their tech chat service. Then I got my first bill in the amount of $164-plus and had to call about that. Finally a rep apologized for the billing error and told me to pay the agreed-upon $29.99 with the proviso that the payments would probably never catch up in order to be properly reflected in my statements. I did In fact get it caught up and at this point am satisfied with the internet service although I sincerely hope I never need customer service!

Description of Work: I was paying about $190.00a month for internet and phone service and I had been with them since 2003. I was tired of spending so much time on the phone with their tech support people which fixed my internet and phone problems only for a short time and came back later so I gave up on them and discontinued their service!

I don’t like them at all. I am looking to change them. The phone is fine, the TV is fine but the internet is bad to the point that I have to turn the power off at the tower and basically restart everything all over again. The internet is really bad. Price wise when you bundle anything it is just about the same. As for responsiveness I don’t have any contact with them I know they cannot do anything about it. I will not use them in the future. Anybody that I talk to that had to switch to Frontier is not happy with them. I don’t think there is anything they can do. They might be working up old lines or whatever. I am going to switch as soon as I find somebody that is going to be more reliable. I am talking to friends about that like a friend who has another provider. Her internet is much faster than mine and pays much less than mine in a month.
