It went well. He had to reschedule because one of his plumbers was sick but was able to reschedule it within a week. Jason and his plumber worked very fast and hard. They were able to complete all the work in one day. When we pointed out an area that was damaged by one of their tools Jason was quick to admit it and we came to a mutual agreement on how to fix it. Also, after the work was done we noticed one of the pipes had a slow leak and when Jason was made aware of it he came over within a day and fixed it. Even though there was some minor damage and a slow leak that needed to be fixed I would recommend United to anyone. They are very professional, courteous, hard working, and if necessary are quick to resolve any problems that may arise because of their work.
Description of Work: Total repipe to the street, installed a new dishwasher, and a new drainage pipe from garage to main drainage pipe under the house.

Overall, it went really well. Our kitchen line leak had gone from very small to flooding over a 6 month period. It compounded a mess in our crawlspace that was fouled with possum, raccoon & rodent excrement. Pipe deterioration led to failure on both vertical & lateral lines. In removing a lateral, it was so full of sludge that it dumped onto the pre-existing mess. Horrible stench! Jason & his assistant cleaned up what they could, knowing that a crawlspace restoration company was scheduled to come soon. They also corrected the drop of the horizontal so it would flow rather than be prone to clogging as it had been. For the installation of our water filter they took it upon themselves to secure the correct drill bit to go thru our composite counter-top. We much appreciated their efforts to do the jobs right!
Description of Work: Jason & his assistant repaired a failed kitchen line in 2 places. Afterward, they installed a water filter into the kitchen line.

Whether it was a big job or little job, or even an immediate crisis, Jason arrived on time and prepared to work. Each job was completed just as he said it would be, including leaving no sign that he had been there...except, of course, magnificent plumbing. As a side note, our dogs loved him and his team.
Description of Work: Jason transformed my plumbing h*** into a plumbing heaven. I can't think of anything he hasn't fixed, replaced or improved.

Our son rents a house from us, and told us he had started hearing a noise whenever he used water from any faucet. I called Jason, and he came out on the first day that my son was able to be home. He measured the water pressure and found that it was much higher than it should be. The old water pressure regulator, that changed the pressure as the water comes into the house, was broken. He called me with the estimate to fix, got my okay, and then went under the house into the crawl space and replaced the regulator. Problem solved! Total time was under two hours. Jason then emailed me the bill to pay.I have used Jason several times at my own home as well as the rental over several years, and have always been very pleased with his timely response, professionalism, and with the end result.
Description of Work: Installed new high pressure regulator in crawl space.

Jason and his assistant did the work in one day and it was successful. They were on time, had all the materials needed, and finished before dark. I would definitely use them again.

Please do not call this plumber. He will undercharge at first, then keep adding on to the bill when he gives you the bid, won't finish, and will not refund money. Save your time and money and go somewhere else!
Description of Work: He charged too much, kept adding on to bill, and never sent an invoice when work wasn't completed. I paid him 25% of his bid to start, he never finished and didn't refund any of my money.

Response from United Plumbing
Angieslist members: I appreciate the opportunity to reply to this posting. This job was a separate addition at the rear of the home. Our job was to rough-in a bathroom in the addition and tie back into the existing plumbing in the house. We bib the job as normal and also explained that where we were connecting to the plumbing in the house may not work due to the location of the existing sewer line. It was also specified in the bib that once we start digging in the crawl space we may find that we can not connect to that plumbing due to the way the existing sewer line ran. We explained that if our first option was not available we would need to route a new line around the back of the house to connect to the sewer main where it exited the house. We went over those options also with their contractor and the home owner so they knew their may be additional work. This was done prior to starting the job so their would be no problems. We roughed in the new bathroom and had the work inspected (everything passed inspection.) Once we started digging in the crawl space we found that the existing sewer main went thru a foundation and ran under a concrete shelf in their basement which made that line not able to be connected to. We collected %25 down at the start of the job which is normal. The plumbing we had already done was covered by the down payment. We provided them with a rough est for what the additional work would be depending if their general contractor dug a trench around the house so we could install the new sewer line. At this point they were unsatified with the additional work and decided to go with another plumber. I believe we did our best to resolve the issue and their contractor was even willing to do the trench to help the owner save money. We did not refund any money because what they paid covered the cost of materials, permits and the rough-in plumbing. I believe we did our due part in explaining everything to the customer before any work was started. It is unfortunate we were not able to come to an arrangement and I hope they were able to get the project finished to their expectations by the next plumber.

They gave me a est to replace the water lines in our crawl space and install a new tankless water heater. They finished in a day as they said they would. When they were finished, they walked me through everything they had done and showed me how to use the new tankless water heater. They showed up on time and I left for work. When I got home, they were cleaning up and said everything had gone as planned.
Description of Work: I had the water lines in my crawl space replaced with Wirsbo tubing and a tankless water heater installed.
