.Paul was quick to respond to my request for a quote and provided an estimate within a week. Paul and Samantha were quick to respond to emails. Work started 4 weeks after the estimate. The painters were polite and the paint job looks well done. Total time for painting was about 3 days.

I had an overall good experience with this company, but I was let down in several areas and would not use them again based on that. They did a good job painting our home. They were timely and responsive in starting and finishing the job. We had talked to the owner, Walt, when he came to house for us to pick out colors about having a few siding boards nailed more securely into place as well as having the garage door painted. He said this was all included. When the job was complete we noted that the siding boards had not been nailed down and that the garage door had not been painted. We called and asked that they come and paint the garage door. When we talked on the phone Walt questioned whether we had discussed painting the garage door and we stated that we had. He asked us if there was still paint left over and we stated that there was. He told us to leave it outside and that they would come finish the job when they had time. They have not come back to finish the job. Also when my husband was paying the final bill Walt stated that he was unsure if he had shred our deposit check. My husband called me and I confirmed that the check had been cashed.

Paul was a responsive business owner, friendly, timely, informative, and knowledgeable. HE personally came to pressure wash the house. His assigned painter had a lovely, soft-spoken personality. The work was done very well. My husband is a perfectionist's perfectionist. The prep met with his satisfaction. His only "minor complaint" was that under a weather-facing eave required an additional coat of paint. (He did not stay for the walk through, and I am sure Paul and his painter would have gladly given another coat to this high eave.) I was so happy with the work, that I gave the painter a personal bonus. Paul and Samantha (business owners) are quickly responsive to any phone calls. I am so happy with their work.

They did the work promptly as scheduled and efficiently. They were neat and careful to not get the product splashed where it wasn't to go. They totally cleaned up after the job and left some Restore for any future touch-ups I might need. They were courteous and polite. The cracked are filled and the deck looks like new -- in fact, it is like new. What more could you ask?

They were immaculate. They run a very tight, efficient shift. The man who owns and runs it is very particular on who he hires and was even there when they were painting.

We had three top-rated painters from Angie's List provide estimates. Sunshine was by far the best price. They were punctual and professional in all my dealings with them. The paint crew was great. We talked throughout the process as they and I had questions. The final job is really beautiful. A real attention to detail.

Fast response on estimate request for exterior painting of our house. They also included options for different qualities of paint. There was a 20% down payment with the remainder upon completion. Sunshine kept us informed as to when the work would be preformed. Sunshine uses their own crew, not subcontracted. The two-man painting crew taped and masked everything, primed the siding, and applied two coats of paint in one day. They cleaned up everything very well.

We had the entire exterior of our entire house painted in July of 2010. Our house is from 1956 and has the original cedar siding on it (we weren't ready to replace the siding at that point). Paul and his team did an excellent, professional job covering the house (including repairing/replacing a few pieces of siding that were extremely damaged). The work on our house was warrantied for two years. We noticed recently that some of the paint was bubbling a bit on the two sides of the house that are most exposed to the sun. Paul came out himself to have a look, and indicated that this was sometimes an issue with old wood (which, admittedly, is a bit worn, and why certain portions needed to be replaced during the original job). He came and gave the house a thorough check all over, and using exactly matched paint (which he left for us after the original job), re-stripped and fixed all the problem points. He also told us to check next year and if the problem recurred, just give him a call. Excellent service!

We obtained five estimates for painting of our home and deck staining which ranged from $3500-$10000. We ended up going with Sunshine, not because they were the least expensive, but because Paul seemed the most knowledgeable and was not trying to sell us on extra services. We had the work done in the Fall so we had several reschedule days due to weather, but Paul and his crew kept our job a priority and even came back without hesitation to re-do some of the deck staining after it rained sooner than we expected. Great job!

While their price was very competitive, the quality of their work was lousy. Two men showed up and several hours later, announced that they were finished with the entire job. When I looked at the fence, it did not even look like it had been painted. It was spotty and some spots clearly had not been touched at all. When I expressed my concerns, they tried to tell me that my stain color was just really light. I put off paying them until my husband came home that night. He promptly went outside and painted one section in our stain color and you could CLEARLY see that they had not painted the fence. When I called the owner to tell him, he told me that the spray painter broke, so the fence only got one quick coat and then they "spot painted" any lighter parts by hand. When I asked him why I was not told this earlier and why they attempted to collect money for such a shoddy, half-finished job, the owner could not answer me. While he ultimately offered to have the same men repaint the fence, we could no longer trust them and refused to have them return.

Sunshine Painting painted the exterior of my home. They repaired some of the siding and downspouts that needed repaired also before they painted. They were thorough and completed the job on schedule. They were also very clean.

This company did great work. I would highly recommend their services, and I would definitely use them again in the future.

They charged me around $3000 or something like that I think for their services. I think they did everything on time. I think their phone service could have been a little bit better. I think they did everything on time, and they got it done in the time they said that they would get it done. The painting job was good. They did not return calls on time. I will use their services again in the future.

I used Angie’s List to find them. I thought the service was great and top notch. They did a great job. They were very efficient and it took them about 3 days. The staff was really good. It was really good. The price was competitive. Their responsiveness was very good. I had a little slack when it came to getting the quote.

I first found Sunshine Painting on Angie's list. When Paul (owner) came over to provide a bid, he told me he had painted a neighbors house next door a couple years earlier. Their paint job looked good so when I got the bid - which turned out to be the best of a few bids - I checked with the neighbor who said they were very happy with the whole job. Paul and Sunshine managed to work around our tricky schedule (we had other work on the house that was just finishing up). The crew was excellent - very polite and hardworking - and they were careful to clean up after themselves. We were very concerned that our newly re-stored double-hung sash windows might get "gummed up" with paint and not work as well. They understood our concerns and their method to prevent this worked well. They were clearly busy, but managed to get our job completed in a timely manner. Our bid was based on 3 colors and we ended up with 5 colors. The added cost for the 2 extra colors was very fair. After they were done, we found a few areas that needed to be touched up and they were very responsive to those requests. No one wants to go through the process of getting one's house painted, but they made it as easy as possible.

They did a great job. They used two colors. I will have them back to do the interior of our house this winter too. They cleaned up very well. Even the boss came out and inspected the work and did some touch-ups. I was very impressed.

Sunshine painting was the only company we called that showed up on time for the estimate. They showed up on time for the painting too. The job took a few days and the employees were friendly and hard workers. The house looks so good. We are very happy with Sunshine. The only problem we had was the windows were all painted shut. When we called Sunshine, they came out right away and fixed the problem. I would recommend this company.

Paul, his office manager/wife Samantha and painter Mario did a great job painting the exterior of our rental house. There were many complications from weather, timing and renters. Paul and Samantha dealt with them all cheerfully and without complaint or attitude. Mario and his crew did a flawless job, and when a part didn't get done (communication confusion) he was back the next day and finished the job expertly. We were very pleased and will use them again when the occasion arises.

A number of contractors were asked to submit a bid for staining our house but because of the job complexity several responded with a no bid. Of the bids received Sunshine Paintings cost was competitive and they were selected because of favorable reports on Angie's List. Initially there was concerns about what product would work over the existing oil based stain; however once resolved the Sunshine crew did an exceptional job on our house. The crew was very professional and the house looks great.

I called to get an estimate and Paul the owner arrived right on schedule. He was very professional both in his appearance and demeanor. He looked the house over thoroughly and pointed out areas that would need repairing stating that either we could do it ourselves or they could do it. We replaced some siding and repaired dry rot ourselves. After we had gotten quotes from several contractors, we decided on hiring Sunshine Painting, partly due to their high ratings on Angie's List and partly due to Paul's knowledge of working on older homes like ours. I submitted the paint colors to him and the sheen of each. He called to talk about the fact that our house was older and any blemishes in the wood would show in the higher sheen paints I had originally chosen and he suggested a duller finish would make for a better appearance. We took his advice and were very happy with the results. The job was delayed several times due to weather issues but when they got started they were amazing. His crew were unbelievably hard workers and very respectful. They left the property very clean every day. I honestly could not find one paint chip left behind. When the job was complete, Paul came out for a final walk through with us and the crew and pointed out to his crew some areas he wanted touched up. We are so happy with the results. Our house looks amazing!

They did everything correctly. Their pricing was very good and I am very pleased with their work. They did an outstanding job. They were very professional and cleaned up. I have no complaints about this company.

Paul and his workers were professional, courteous, on time and on budget. The estimate came in quite a bit under the other two estimates I got, but they did an outstanding job. I will definitely use them again and urge others to use them as well.
