Paul was responsive from the beginning and worked out the prep details. When it came time to paint, he passed us to his brother, Darin, who ran the job and was on site throughout. They did not intrude upon our tenants and did their best to make sure that neighbors were comfortable. They were great!

Paul was able to fit my job in amongst his larger jobs. They painters were here when promised and worked quickly and cleanly. They did an excellent job.

Paul the owner, was very knowledgeable, professional and willing to be flexable. his 2 employees were respectful and skilled painters. I liked that they didn't smoke and/or listen to music, they cleaned up daily.

The work went well. The job site was always kept clean. The employees were always courteous.

They were a little uncommunicative to begin with. After I mailed them the signed agreement, I had to call them to schedule the job. Later I called again to tell them my paint colors. Not sure if or when they were planning to call me. The week that was designated for my job, they called Sunday night to tell me they were coming the next morning. This left me no time to schedule time off work, so I ended up calling someone to house-sit for the day while they were here. That also meant I paid for the job without inspecting it first, which I wasn't very happy about. Despite these inconveniences, Sunshine Painting did quality work. They finished the job in one day, my house looks great and they left no mess behind whatsoever.

Paul, the owner came to my home to give a bid on painting the exterior of my home. He was on time and gave me a folder with his business license and other pertinent information regarding his business. I did not ask for this, but I was most impressed with his eye towards the fine details. He was very professional and said he would give me a bid within two days, which he did. The bid was more than fair. I would definitely recommend Sunshine Painting and I will use them again when I need the interior of my home painted. The work was great and they got it done quickly. They were very friendly and there were no complaints even though the weather was very hot. Leo and Hector were fun, but very professional. They did not ask for anything, although with the weather so hot I took water out to them which they appreciated. They also had to come back for a small amount of touch-up work. They did so promptly and without complaint.

From start to finish a great experience. Other contractors either did not show up to bid or bid much higher. Work was great. Workers were on site early and worked late. Courteous & professional and billed as bid!

I felt very comfortable working with Paul during the estimate and planning stages. I asked that he prepare the estimate calling out different work (exterior paint, deck, interior garage work), which he did. We decided to just go with exterior paint. We agreed on an estimated start time. Paul called the day before they came out to pressure wash the house, and again to let me know when the workers would start the prep work. The painting was completed in two days. So far we haven't noticed anything that requires touch up. They even went above and beyond when I asked them seal a gap in our eaves with netting to keep out birds that were nesting there. It was at the highest peak. I also asked for more trim detail than the original paint job and they did a great job of painting exactly what I asked them to in the contrasting color.

We worried because we had to leave town, but it was unnecessary. We came home to a beautiful and complete exterior paint job. Paul, the owner, provided us one of three bids on this project. We chose this company because of Angie's List recommendation. Sunshine Painting started the project on the date we asked, and completed all the work in a timely manner. Darrin, the project manager, was very quick to complete some minor changes that we requested at no additional cost. We highly recommend Sunshine Painting.

Painters were extremely hardworking and conscientious. Didn't let us know when start date was delayed. Use them! Maybe a bit more communication, advance notice of scheduling.

I am very pleased with the work they performed. Performed excellent quality work in a timely manner. Highly recommend this contractor.

Prompt response from Paul, I met him at the house the day after I e-mailed him directly from Angie's List. Very courteous, punctual, work done on time in a professional manner. I think the time frame was approximately 1 week from my initial call to Paul until the house was finished. We needed to wait out some rain, but once the sun came out the work was done promptly. Paul kept me in the loop, and I really appreciated that. We buy and sell houses frequently in and around Vancouver, I will certainly call Sunshine Painting for our future needs.

This was a great experience overall. Paul was very professional when he came out to give me a bid. He gave me a folder with their license information and registration information. It also included info about their worker's compensation plan, how to file a lien if you have a problem, references, etc. I've never had that happen and was nicely surprised. When the painting started, Jose and Angel showed up early every day, worked hard and were exceptionally polite. It was a joy to work with this company and Mr. Eang.

Sunshine painting first painted my home in September of '06 and the job was awful. I wrote a scathing review on Angie's List and Paul contacted me and we agreed that the house needed to be prepped and repainted. His crew finished the job on June 14th and I couldn't be happier. The problems were all resolved to my satisfaction. I recommend Sunshine Painting highly.

The finished job looks terrific and really improved the appearance of our home. However, there were a few problems along the way. For instance, Pedro, the crew chief, complained the weather was too hot and spent a lot of time sitting in the shade so the job got behind schedule. Also there was a communications problem and the trim needed to be repainted. The other crew member was a hard worker. Paul, the company owner, showed great integrity and was very responsive to our concerns and he personally came out on the weekend to finish the job. His work was impeccable. Paul was very professional, but his crew chief wasn't. But, all in all, we are extremely satisfied.

Sunshine did an excellent job. They came out in the beginning and had samples of their work and everything. They were very informative. It did take a little longer to get started than we had hoped, but, it turned out well. They were very busy. They were the cheapest estimate that we had come across for the house. I think the deck staining could have been a little cheaper. It was $2000 for the staining and $3900 for the house.

The process was smooth, and the guys even worked on a Sunday as the weather allowed to get the job done! Paul returned our call quickly and came around to give an estimate. He was on time. The crew protected the windows and garden as they were painting. They cleaned up as they went. All in all we are very happy with Sunshine Painting's work.

From the beginning, Paul was very professional. I had asked for and received 4 bids from different contractors. Paul was by far the most timely and professional. The job (and clean up) was done in one day. They did a great job.

Paul Eang was clear in his estimate verbiage & very thorough. We plan to sell this house very soon, so the time factor was necessary for this job. He reiterated how much work needed to be done, because the house was old & the lap siding was in bad condition. The workers came on time to do all of the work. Darin & his crew exceeded my expectation for this job & finished in less than a week. I was astounded. My observation of their performance during & after the job was super-professional. There were no issues to contend with. Armando & Ramero were also efficient workers & managed to complete the job without hesitation. I'm more than pleased with this job. If you need a paint job for a reasonable price & you are under a time schedule, this company is the one to hire.

Our first contact with the company was good, they returned our call right away, and we were able to schedule the job within a month. Paul and his team were great. Paul was very responsive, and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. His team was professional and always on-time. When some small areas needed touch-up, Paul sent a team the day after we called him, and they completed the work efficiently. We were very, very pleased with the entire project. It was the best experience we've ever had with a contractor.

Overall, the experience was very positive. Paul quickly returned most phone inquiries, and we are satisfied with the results. The only problem was with replacing the frame work of our awning on our front porch. The crew stated they would come the next day but didn't. A call to Paul was not returned about this. Fortunately, the awning company (Pike awning) was very responsive and sent a crew at no expense.

The owner, Paul Eang, was very professional and came equipped with pictures of the steps his crew would take during the process. Based on our interactions with Paul and review of reports on Angie's List, we hired Sunshine Painting to paint my mom's house (a large structure, almost 3 stories at the peak). Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. After 2 days of working (2 hrs on day 1 and 6 hrs on day 2) they informed us that they would be done the next day. When I arrived that morning I found part of the house painted, but no caulk or fill work had been done and blistered paint remained on one side where painting had already occurred. This went on for a week before the job was completed. Conclusion: poor prep work that resulted in the job taking much longer than needed because the crew had to redo much of what they originally did. The finished product was acceptable, but only because I was looking over the crew?s shoulder to ensure the job was done correctly.

We are very happy with the results of the work that Sunshine Painting did on our home. Paul, the owner, came over and inspected what needed to be done and explained what would happen in detail. The next person, Manuel, who came to wash the home, was very polite and did a great job, and even pressure washed the brick work on the front fascia of the house when I asked if he would. Some rain held up our job for a week, but I was notified by Paul that it would be delayed. Sergio was in charge of painting our house. He was definitely one of the hardest working people I have ever had at my house in the 10 years we have lived here. He diligently took care of every concern and did an amazing job, from the care and time he took with the prep work to the finishing touches. I would highly recommend Sunshine Painting.

Mr. Eang and his crew did a very satisfactory job. Mr. Eang pointed out some repairs during the inspection and estimate that his crew would take care of and sure enough, they did. The crew thoroughly covered all the landscaping, hot tub, and other stuff around the house to avoid over spray. The crew foreman was not fluent in English, but did a walk through with me when they finished the job. I had them touch up several areas and they did so promptly, without complaint. They made sure that each door was painted the color that I wanted. They also did a very good job painting around a large vine that grows along the roof overhang at the entrance to the front door. The only complaint I have is that they trampled a flower bed that was covered while painting. It didn't bother me too much, but my wife was pissed! Overall, I was pleased with their work, except for the flower bed.
